no Wi-Fi even though they said it had it, someone said they were going to fix it and never did, the toilet stopped up, the guy said he would bring a plunger and never did, I had to go buy a plunger

This home is comfortable and gives the feeling of being nestled in the woods yet still close to a main road with easy access into town, parks and lakes. The property owner, Butch, is nearby and responsive to requests by text or phone.

This is difficult to answer. I would like if the road leading to the property was a little more lit up but my husband liked that it was dark because it gave the feeling of being in the woods.

It was a very nice change from a hotel.

Off the main drag

Location is very nice for exploring Shawnee National Forest, several exceptional trails are accessible within a 20 minute drive. Quick to get to Carbondale.

The yard is much smaller than the pictures suggest and is infested with ticks. For the price I expected better amenities and cleanliness.
