the location was very central, close to beach, shops and strip

Paula was there to greet us and showed us that there was a hairdryer and a pair of straighteners if we needed them.
The terrace is a cute place to sit with shade.
Everything was clean upon arrival.
We didn't know until this week that Albufeira apartments can be bad for cockroaches. We found 2 in the kitchen and (we were being really good for putting all rubbish away so were horrified).
3 flights of stairs in July is a lot. I didn't realise the apartment was top floor!
The pool is listed as private. I messaged the lady about it and she confirmed. I specified is it just for us (as that's what we were looking for when booking), she said yes. I think she misunderstood what I meant by private. It is shared by all 3 floors of the apartment so it gets very busy and there are no sun beds or chairs.

The location central to everything
No lift & looking over at junk yard at the side of the balcony.

Nice pool. Side view of the pool.
Rough ground at back of property, horrible view.
