Beautiful view out huge windows, convenient location, roomy house, safe neighborhood, very comfortable, friendly neighbor family. 30 day stay. Kitchen was disgusting when we arrived: moldy grounds in coffee pot, rotten fruit in basket, sticky gunk on counters, fridge and cabinets full of open food, cat food by door, dirty floors. I wrote to ask if place had been cleaned and answer was that it had. But when we vacuumed the rugs, first we had to empty a full vacuum cleaner and then it filled quickly twice more. They offered to send a cleaning crew but we did it ourselves since we didn’t have confidence in their cleaning people (they reimbursed a few supplies we had to buy because the ones in the house were empty but hadn’t been tossed). Lots of stains on rugs yet we had to prepay both an extra pet fee and a cleaning fee even though our dog didn’t make a mess and we left it much cleaner than when we arrived. Had a nasty ant invasion for which they gave us no help even though they said they would. Had to borrow bug spray from our daughter. Fireplace did not have any gas flowing. We wrote a couple times but answer was always to check the instructions. We did that but you cannot light a pilot without gas! This is an example of communication issues: while we always got prompt answers, they were often useless boilerplate. Overall, it’s a lovely home that seems neglected. With a little TLC and a competent cleaning crew, we would highly recommend.

Stayed here for an out of town project and found the accommodations to be very nice and convenient.
