GK Bali Resort

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at GK Bali Resort! 🌴❤️ The warmth and kindness of the staff made us feel truly welcome. The breathtaking views, the lush tropical greenery surrounding the infinity pool, the peaceful atmosphere and our beautifully decorated room made this place feel like a little piece of paradise. Everything was perfect, and we left with beautiful memories. We would love to come back!

Beautiful setting, lovely room (Executive suite), free benefits were worth having ( yoga, massage, afternoon tea), attentive staff, walking distance to Ulu Pertuna falls - recommended. Book the downhill cycling tour- you ride through quiet roads through the real Bali!

GK Bali Resort was one of the places that made my stay in Bali truly special. Located in Tegalalang, it feels wonderfully removed from the buzz of Ubud while still being convenient for exploring the rice terraces, Ubud, Kintamani and Mount Batur. The real magic, however, is its immersion in nature. The views are among the most beautiful I have ever experienced from a hotel, and the whole place feels incredibly calm and relaxing. It is a relatively small, locally run property, which gives it a very personal character. The hospitality was exceptional — among the best I have ever experienced. The staff were available around the clock and always willing to help with anything I needed. The rooms were spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable, with huge bathrooms, beautiful views and everything you could wish for. And the pool was simply heaven. The food was also very good, and I particularly enjoyed the generous breakfast. Overall, the combination of nature, comfort, privacy and genuinely warm Balinese hospitality made this place feel very special.

Only very minor things but I'd like to mention these: There is currently some construction nearby as the resort expands. I had read reviews mentioning it, but honestly, I barely noticed it during my stay. Breakfast was almost too generous, with a breakfast course of choice plus fruit and pastries — lovely, but perhaps more than necessary from a sustainability perspective. A easy-access filtered-water refill station would also be a welcome addition.

The pool is great! Staff is really nice

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and offers barely any activities. The rooms have no privacy, the restaurant can look right into your bathroom!
