Ocean House Boutique Hotel & Motel

The charm of the 1800’s mansion that was converted to suites was so special. Right on the beach, the view of the water, the sand, and the dunes from the wall of windows in our suite was amazing .

It was so close to the beach. We had access to all the pools. The room was very clean.

I liked everything.

Great location near the beach and downtown

Very small room for 5 people, the beds were not comfortable at all.

The hotel was super cute and well decorated as an Inn. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was awesome.

The location of this hotel (in October) was horrible. The town was practically abandoned. It was incredibly hard to find a place to dine out and there wasn't enough space in the room to do any cooking. Additionally, the room was much smaller than it looked in photos with barely enough room to navigate around the end of the bed. Additionally, it's on this road with multiple different hotels all owned by the same company. In our Inn there were four-ish other room occupied when we were there - which then begs the questions of why they didn't rearrange bookings to spread the guests out throughout the hotel. Instead, there was another group directly above us - and the walls/floors were thin making it hard to sleep. The people checking guests in appeared to be young folks who were not very interested in customer service or thinking independently so I'm not surprised that they didn't think to spread guests out, just disappointed.
