Can't say enough about the uniqueness of this property. Amazing views, amazing drive to the property over the beach and the horses were present almost daily during our eight day stay. My daughter had all of her birthday wishes come true with horses grazing outside in the mornings. Great place for beach and horse lovers alike.

Loved staying at the Pony Tail and didn't want to leave. Great location. Horses came right up to the house. Morning coffee watching the sunrise every day. Getting back and forth to the house was easier than anticipated. Host was responsive. Highly recommend, 5 stars all the way.

Great vacation at the Pony Tale with Awesome sunrises and sunsets, horses roaming around and quality time with family. April the property manager was absolutely super. Communication was a breeze. We loved our week at the Pony Tale.

The Pony Tale was everything we expected. The view was fab and the ponies were around everyday. Our host April was the best. We had a few small issues with a couple small appliances that she ordered new ones and had them sent to us the very next day. Communication with her was immediate with responses. I wish the wind hadn't been blowing so hard and it could have been warmer but we can't control the weather and still had a great time. We are planning to come back next year and I pray and hope April will still be our host. This house is perfect for anyone that wants a view of the Atlantic and privacy. We were bothered by no one. It's just under 3 miles on the 4x4 basically a 10 to 15 minute drive to the concrete, I just loved it! Driving the beach sand was a new experience for us and it was just fine in our 4x4 Ram truck. All in all I have no complaints so check it out and "Seas the Day" at the Pony Tale.

Great views! Saw wild horses and dolphins off the back deck. It was a very comfortable house, perfect for getting away and checking out for a while. The owner communicated everything perfectly and timely, right down to the directions to the house.

The Pony Tale provided the perfect setting to observe the Wild Mustangs up close while taking in views of the Ocean. The Widows Watch or Roof walk made the perfect addition for finding the horses, especially with binoculars. The house allowed for everyone to have their personal space while the open concept upstairs encouraged family interaction while cooking and playing games. Each room having their own access to a deck and view of the ocean was a added perk. Having the private pool and Hot Tub on property was a relaxing alternative to the ocean, perfect with 2 children and taking a night swim or two. Our family used the pool and hot tub daily and only added to the relaxed atmosphere. Be sure to load up on supplies and groceries before checking into the house- getting in and out of the sand road took a little longer than we had expected but was always an adventure. Be prepared for climbing steps at The Pony Tale House, but I can say after conquering all those steps for a week, I felt a bit stronger. Our overall experience was fantastic and we plan to return to The Pony Tale for many years to come.

The host April was great, starting with reserving the house and through our stay. She answered all our questions and gave us enough information to know what to expect as this was our first time staying on the sand. I felt confident that she would address any issues that may arise during our stay. We had 4 adults and 7 older teenagers. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and we had enough bathrooms. Of great importance for me was how clean and organized the house was. I immediately felt comfortable as the house was clean and decorated nicely. The full size laundry washing machine and dryer were nice to have. There were plenty of board games, a card table, and corn hole which we all enjoyed. The pool and outside shower were very nice too. The grill looked like it may be new this year and we used it a few nights during our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. The views from the decks on the house were amazing. We saw horses walking around every day. We watched the sunrise early in the morning over the ocean, then in the evening could see the sunset from the widows walk even higher up, there was room to sit and relax for our entire group on the widows walk. We would love to return to the Pony Tale for another vacation.
