This was perfect for a relatively short getaway and the location was very convenient.

Great place to stay for a beach vacation. Wake up to a view of the bay. Beach is a short walk away. Only downside is there is no parking. We used Uber with no problem.

This is our second time staying at specific property and specific unit. It is just perfect for an adult getaway. Newly renovated and well appointed for its small size. Blows away any typical SD hotel room.

Could only give this property 4 stars due mainly to the fact it is run by a property management company - not the actual owner. They were not prompt in answering questions about parking. Parking at Mission Beach is atrocious! Do not rent here if you plan on driving. Otherwise, it is clean and well located.

Clean and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at Mission Beach! The apartment was immaculately clean and had an amazing view of the bay. We spent a lot of time enjoying the balcony! The location was far enough away from the bars and restaurants to be peaceful but close enough to walk to them, and very safe to walk 'home'. The other three apartments were occupied when we got there and we all were able to enjoy our individual space. The bay side is so much less windy than the ocean side. So glad we were on the bay! The bed was comfy, and bathroom and kitchen were nice. There are no drawers for clothes, though there was a small organizer for hanging some things. That is my only recommendation; a small chest of drawers or a couple of bins for the organizer. Absolutely lovely place and we'd certainly stay again!

Just what the doctor ordered. Very cute and conveniently located place. Don't bring a car if you rent this unit, Parking is HORRIBLE!!!

Location is central to everything. Clean, perfect sized studio with sunrise view of the bay.

We really enjoyed our stay on bayside. The view was beautiful and the studio was clean and well kept. This place made for a nice relaxing anniversary and birthday!

The location and this property were perfect for our honeymoon. Relaxing and quiet near the bay. Lots of great restaurants close by within walking distance.

A very nice and well stocked 2nd floor studio apartment with an amazing view of the Mission Bay. Perfect location to see the sunrise over the bay and watch unlimited water sports all day along with a great path to walk around the water. Then walk 2 blocks to the ocean beach with beautiful sunsets and an even more active walkway.

Everything was as listed. A very well stocked apt. with good quality linens and kitchen items. We usually stay on the ocean side but wanted to try the bay side and we were very pleased. Beautiful location. Thanks.

Everything was well thought out, it was very clean and very welcoming.

The space was perfect for the 2 of us for 4 nights. Comfortable bed, good amenities. Honestly, the location is fantastic. Right on the beach with a beautiful of the calm harbour, yet less than a 5 minute walk to the oceanside. Beautiful view day & night. Only cons were that the bathroom could have been cleaner upon our arrival. There were hairs behind the toilet lid and in the shower. And when I emailed a suggestion to have some fleece blankets in the room during this time of year because once the sun went down it was too cold to enjoy the balcony. I was told that there were blankets in the room in the TV stand (these were very thin, almost like a tea towel) and that they didn't want blankets outside. I understand not wanting blankets taken to the beach but disappointed at the suggestion they shouldn't be used on the balcony. It's beautiful out there at night. People don't tend to travel with their own blankets. This wasn't a big deal. I thought it was a good suggestion so maybe I'm just disgruntled it was shot down...lol. All in all I would 100% stay here again and recommend to others. In fact, while we were there I overheard a couple talking below our balcony that the unit was 'the other one they were looking at' and I piped up and told them I would definitely recommend for a short term stay :)

I was in town for the Susan g komen 3 day and the location was absolutely perfect! Looking forward to being back for next year!

This is a cute little studio room that overlooks Mission Bay. It was super quiet at night. I enjoyed the easy access to beachfront pathways, and we walked for miles each day. This unit doesn't have parking, so we didn't bother renting a car after reading about trying to find parking nearby. We walked to the grocery store and to many nearby eateries. I enjoyed how relaxed and quiet the bay side was compared to the ocean front condos. The ocean is a super short walk away if you want to see the big waves coming in. The only downside to this unit is there's no couch to relax on. The bed could use bigger or more pillows with cozier bedding to make lounging on the bed more comfortable. Everything else was fine. We had what we needed to make some simple meals and enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony.

This property is in a perfect location. It was quiet with a great view of Mission Bay. Easy walking distance to the busy pacific beach. As other reviews stated parking would have been almost impossible. Worked out for us, we didn’t rent a car. We loved that Netflix was available to us. My only complaint was the the kitchen lights didn’t work and that they only provided 2 towels for our stay, since we checked in on a Saturday there was no one to contact to get more.

My husband and I stayed here while we attended a wedding in San Diego. The unit is small and the walls are paper thin - you can hear just about everything next door or below you, but it has all of the comforts of home. The view is unbeatable, and being east-facing, it helps cut down on the heat during the last part of the day. Was a wonderful treat to be woken up by the sun and sip our coffee watching the boats bob gently in the bay. Definitely walkable to a number of restaurants, coffee shops, and the beach on either side of the little peninsula there. I thought that we were maybe a little older than the general demographic of people staying in Mission Beach but we had a great time nonetheless!

The place itself is absolutely fantastic. Extremely comfortable king bed, cozy balcony with a great view (and killer view for fireworks over 4th of July weekend!), and a nice bathroom with a gorgeous shower! The small kitchen was adequate since we ate most of our meals out, and the Brita water pitcher in the fridge was much appreciated. The location is great, we walked or biked to everything, as we usually do when in San Diego. The one and only downfall was parking. Yes, we were told ahead of time that no parking spot was included...but based on previous reviews, we weren't too worried. BOY were we wrong LOL. We circled for almost 2 hours between the 2 nearby parking lots looking for a parking space, while making stops to keep unloading our vehicle (we were there for a week so we packed a lot, and we basically had to block the alleyway to unload anything, so we kept having to move to let other cars go by) so it was definitely not the best start to our vacation. I'm hoping this was only because it was a holiday weekend because we really would love to stay there again, but would probably pick a different unit just based on the parking issue. Again, the place itself is AMAZING aside from parking, so if you're being dropped off by an Uber and not packing a lot, or perhaps arrive during the week, it shouldn't be an issue! :)

It was a great little place with a nice balcony overlooking the bay. Just 2 blocks from the beachside and close to several good restaurants. Only bummer is this unit DOES NOT come with a designated parking spot. During peak season this was a big hassle. When we did find a space we left car there for entire stay as we were unwilling to go through the hours long process it took us the first time to find a spot. We just took the added expense of using Uber to get to any places we wanted to go.

Beautiful studio with everything we needed! The bayfront view was gorgeous with lots of bird sightings. We loved how peaceful it was while being just steps away from the beach and Mission blvd. We came for our 5th anniversary and being in such a lovely spot made it really special

We had a fantastic stay in Mission Beach! The location was perfect!! We really enjoyed staying on the bay side, while having such easy, close access to the beach side. The property is located equally distant from 2 different commercial areas full of food and bar options. We particularly enjoyed LaPlaya, Sand Bar and Luigi’s. We rented bikes for $10 each for a full day at Hamel’s and rode up and down the boardwalk on both sides. So much to see!!! Kayaks and paddle boards were also available for renting, but it was too chilly for us. The property itself was great! Comfortable king size bed. Plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Fully stocked kitchen. The owners have clearly responded to prior reviews as there were extra bath towels and a clothing storage rack available. We loved the split back door!!! Absolutely perfect location for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider this property in the future.

10 second walk to bay beach, 2 minute walk to ocean beach, 5 minutes to coffee, 15 minutes to Belmont Park, and 20 minutes to Pacific Beach, wonderful spot
