Hotel Arce

This property was a great location for our Ebike ride from Porto to Santiago. They have a secure indoor storage area for bikes, charging outlets, good breakfast, nice rooms and the hosts, Robert and Anabel were wonderful.

If you are on the Camino, this property is in a Great location - you are largely thru Baiona, and the hotel is just before you cross the unique Roman bridge. The hotel as you can see in the picture, is next to a beautiful church. Across the street is a panaderia (bakery) which is very good, and a tavernia is just down the road. The proprietors are Robert and his wife, along with assistance from the staff, and the place has very nice little touches, and has been upgraded in many respects (comfortable mattresses, etc.). It is the nicest place that I have stayed on the Camino Portuguese. Robert has a relationship with a quality restaurant a short walk from the hotel which will get you 6 pm seating for dinner.

Check in and out went out smoothly, the owner of the hotel was very friendly. Bed very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and God bless you for the cold 🦶 gel you gave us. After a long walk on the Camino it was just perfect. It really helped. The room was also very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.❤️

Good location, clean room

Room was on side of hotel that received afternoon sun which made it unbearably hot. Manager was friendly but check in very slow as too much talk after a long day walking
