It was clean and very well located for exploring the city, on a quiet street.
The stairs were steep and the bath in the top room had a beam at very low height immediately above it so you had to be careful not to bang your back, let alone your head (and I am of average height).

It was lovely and clean with everything you need in a lovely part of Lancaster.
There is a washing machine but no dryer of drying rack but not a major problem.
