Super cool vibe. Nice area to hang out. Super comfy bed, which is often unusual in a hostel. Aaron was working, and couldn't have been nicer. I was in the women's dorm and the showers, bathroom etc were very clean. Great location, if you want to be in the heart of the city. I will definately be back.

Overall it exceeded my expectations. Little things, the couch outside stinks of cigarette smoke, but I am not a smoker, so maybe I'm more sensitive. It is the smoking area. They need bins for cans and PET bottles.

This was my 3rd time there! Amazing service and easy access to Dontonbori. This time around, I was able to talk to many travelers. This was my favorite visit! I can't wait to come back again the next time I visit Osaka.

I booked a private room at Chillax, looking to save a bit of money but still stay fairly close to the action in Osaka, maybe meet a few people to hang out with in the evenings. The decor in the lobby was fun and some of the staff were very nice. Overall the value was okay, I wanted a cheap place to sleep and base out of and that is exactly what I got.

My room didn't feel the cleanest. The carpet was stained and felt grimy. There was also not a bathroom on my floor, so I had to take the stairs or elevator just to pee at night. Vibes were a bit off, it felt a bit like friends hang I wasn't invited to. I waited patiently to check in for quite awhile, thinking the staff wasn't around, until one of them who'd been laying on the couch realized what was happening and got up to check me in, so maybe we got off to a bad start.
