Spacious, clean, close to the POI. You could find everything in 5-10 minutes walking. For us it was what we needed! Thank you, Peter! (+Good host!)

The spacious room and large modern bathroom, the central location, the great view on the church towers and Haarlem and the friendly host.

I slept on the top floor on the street side and the street noise, especially at night, is really loud. The traffic (especially buses and scooters) make it a really noisy flat, so you could not sleep well. I think it is really necessary to either replace the current glass or to put a second window behind the first one, like it is in the bathroom. It was very hot in the room at day. Darkening the windows was not good possible, so you wake up very early from the sunlight and ofcourse because of the noises.

Our host, Pieter, was great! He showed us the laundry downstairs and welcomed us to the apartment for the key hand-over. Lots of coffee, toilet paper and toiletry products provided. Spacious! The main room with kitchen and large TV faces the street and is huge - a sort of kitchen/dining/living room. Haarlem is a great area with many restaurants but not loud at night or overrun by tourists. Our place was not far from the train station in Haarlem and was completely flat - good for luggage with wheels. The train ride from Amsterdam was short - maybe 12 minutes.

There was no cutting board. There was just one flight of stairs to the two-bedroom apartment we stayed in - a bit steep but doable with luggage.

Location was close to Bus 300 which provided direct access to airport. Host was fabulous! A great communicator, with tips for transportation, restaurants, and activities.

the only thing I would have to complain about was the double bed. we found it very uncomfortable the mattress was very soft and it squeaked everytime we moved in it.

Beautiful and cosy 1 bedroom rooftop appartment at a top location in the center of Haarlem. Everything was super clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Really friendly host - handover and return of the keys was very well organised.

We had such an enjoyable time. I would highly recommend these apartments. Just as wonderful as the photographs. Great location. Everything you need is on your doorstep. Haarlem is a beautiful town and very close to Amsterdam too. The beds were very comfortable and there was even some coffee ready for us too.

There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like! If I were to be extremely picky as a lady a mirror with a plug socket next to it would have been great when blow drying hair. But that’s being very picky! It was FANTASTIC! I’d love to take the whole family next time!

Excellent location for tourist places, shops and, especially, markets. Comfortable facilities and, as it was winter, the apartment was warm throughout. Reasonable kitchenette to facilitate being independent.

There was no toaster but we were able to borrow one from our daughter. It would have been helpful to know about the very steep stairs to the second floor apartment; in case anyone was infirm.

Excellent location, quiet and clean room, high ceilings, modern oven - we cooked a lot. Host was very helpful.

wi-fi connection sometimes is not stable, A/C system doesn't work. Also high stairs could be a problem for somebody.
