Good location and lovely lodge.
Bit of a wet dog smell.
Heating didn’t come on in the morning.

It was really nicely decorated, the outdoor furniture was a nice touch and fully equipped if we wanted to use the kitchen. Both restaurants served exceptional food
Upon checking in the lady informed us that some of the WiFi codes were done incorrectly and if it was the case to ring or pop back down before 10pm, we had no issues but it led to one of the neighbouring lodges to come and ask us to help as the restaurant was locked up and no one was answering the phone this was before 8:30pm. We were happy to help them but that’s not our job especially when we were trying to relax for my partners birthday.
The pricing for the mini bar was a little steep also, my recommendation would be to go to Sainsbury’s which is a 6 minute drive.

The lodge and the quietness
Bedding smelt old , no soap tray in shower, slippy shower floor

"Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location of restaurant was excellent as well. I booked a birthday package for my friend which was all set up when we arrive..."
