This house is perhaps the most unique place in all of Ajaccio. It was built for a previous mayor of Ajaccio, and there is a plaque out front claiming that the house in haunted. There are many rooms, and the place can sleep up to 10 people. The most special aspect of this house is the stunning view of Ajaccio bay. Unforgettable. Also on the plus side, it is only a 20-minute walk down into the city, so it is not necessary to use the car.
Booking.com says that the house is air-conditioned. However, this only applies to the bottom floor. The top floor, where you need it most on hot summer days, has no air-conditioning. We were there in September, so it was not such a problem.
Entering and exiting with a car is a bit challenging. That aspect of the accommodation should be improved.
Accessing the upstairs rooms requires walking up a tight circular staircase. This can be a challenge with heavy suitcases.
