2 bedrooms, location

Dishwasher was filthy Advertised as having parking, which was our number 1 priority, then after paying received an email from them to say the council had removed their parking permit in 2025 and we would have to find our own parking, very stressful for overseas guests. I emailed “Paul” but got no response. Little back patio, untidy with jar full of cigarette butts

Location very good. 3 minutes walk from the train station but the lamington spa train runs every 2 hours.

Slow train service.

Breakfast not applicable. Location was good for accessing the town centre. Beds were comfy. TV in lounge and both bedrooms. All accessories that we needed were present ie ironing board, iron etc. Comfy sofas in lounge.

The ad for the property promised on site free parking, however, this was not the case. We had to pay to park in a nearby car park. This needs to be made clear in the ad. We were offered a free cancellation but this was the day before travel and no time to make alternate arrangements. This property could be so much better with a bit of care and attention spent on it. The outside to the rear is a let down. There is a rusty old gate propped against the back yard opening. There was a small table and 2 chairs on the 'patio' complete with a jar containing a load of used fag ends. Plus there was a small patch of grass/weeds. There was a broken glass in the kitchen cupboard and the toilet door handle was hanging off. The property has a double bed in one room and two singles in another. However there is only one very small double wardrobe which has very little depth so our clothes were just hung around where we could find space. Property is very close to a busy cross roads so there is some noise, although this did not bother us. Overall, we would stay elsewhere when visiting Stratford again.
