Ignoring the fact that the rooms were draughty and cold, I found it galling that the staff would charge extra for the world’s most ineffectual and tiny room heater

The location of the property was excellent. Everything is nearby. The lobby and the dining hall were good enough.

1. Except the lobby, nothing is maintained. 2. Hot water was supplied in the bathroom only for 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs in the evening, which was not at all expected from the hotel management when they were charging more than Rs.7500 for a double bedded room as room tariff. 3. Toilets were not sanitised and cleaned during my stay. Only a piece of soap was given during my stay. No other toiletries were provided which was not at all expected. 4. During checking in, I found the beds in my room totally unclean. All the table tops, racks, floor & curtains were having dirt. 5. Most of the charging sockets in room were not working. Dressing unit lights were not working. 6. Room service was very poor. 7. They took the entire amount before checking in. 8. Before checking in, the hotel manager Mr. Sujay Bhowmik contacted me few occasions but after making the full payment when I started facing problems I tried to call him but he didn’t bother to respond. 9. Overall cleanliness is very poor.

The property was okayish. the staff were super helpful and cooperative. However, there was no hot water available.

Non availability for hot water in such a cold area

Nothing. Mistake by selecting with the ratings and pictures. The staff are not at all cooperative. After asking/requesting for 10-12 times they come to you. Dirty rooms and utensils. I vomit after having a sip of the water provided by the hotel and after asking to provide the mineral water also they took 1 hour to deliver from their own restaurant.

Nothing is there to be liked. Worst service and worst location too. You need to be prepared to carry your own luggage sometime.

Room decoration good

Good hotel in Darjeeling.

Rooms were so neat and clean. Staff were so polite and good. Overall great stay. After checkout they allowed me to keep my luggages in the travel desk when I wanted to to go out for a day sight seeing.

Location of the hotel is the best part and the staffs are very good and helpful. It's just opposite to Rink mall, 10 mnts walking from Mall road.

In hill station no hot water facility is there, only one hour morning and one hour evening hot water is available. not very clean room and toilet.

Room service

I had made two separate bookings for one day each. On my first day I was given a Premium(509) and Deluxe room(503). Both rooms are fabulous. They are the ones beings showed in the pictures of the hotel. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

On the second day I was given 501 which is a damped room and was not at all any match to even their deluxe room. I immediately requested for room change at the reception. The staff was helpful and gave me two other options, which were better than 501. I would like to suggest the hotel to repair the damped rooms because they doesn't go with the image of the hotel. The most of the hotel is itself very beautiful but these one or two rooms are the reason for their under-ratings.

I liked the delicious and healthy meals. The staff was very cooperative.

The extra bed was not good and it was not so comfortable. The TV was very small. I think the hotel should work on center table.
