Silver Beach Hotel

The property is in an excellent location and not as noisy as some as the other hotels. The room was spotless. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We needed an early check in and they accommodated us very quickly. It also came equipped with a kettle and fridge unlike our previous more expensive hotel.

The room is small and basic with no frills but what do you expect for the price. We had bath towels but no hand towels

We had room 19 which had a balcony facing the sea and you could watch and hear the sea lapping on the shore all day & night. The view was interrupted by an old tower which was most likely a windmill? There were birds flying in and out all day which was lovely to watch. It was very basic but the lady cleaning did a great job every day. There was a screen in the balcony doors and hitch stopped mosquitoes and flies coming in so we could keep the doors open all night so no need for the air con which we didn’t have a remote for.

It’s a very small room with tight space but we were out all day so only slept there. The beds were okay but not very comfortable. There were only 4 hangers in the wardrobe so it was lucky I took some with me. There weren’t any drawers to put clothes in. The shower head needs replacing. You had to unplug the fridge to plug the kettle in to make a hot drink. The balcony light didn’t work. Our towels weren’t changed all week.

I only slept in the room so can only comment on comfort (good) and facilities, also good and clean thanks to excellent cleaning staff.

Location ideal.

Tiny bathroom,, IF you wanted to close the door you had to stand in the shower to do it. Shower head wouldn't stay on the wall. No bath mat had to use a bath towel,, very dangerous slippy floor when wet. It was OK but wouldnt stay again.
