The house is beautiful and the little outside area and garden are lovely. The downsides are that the wifi is terrible & the house is adjacent to a busy road which has enormous trucks travelling to or from the port all through the night. While the accommodation is wonderful, you have to be a very heavy sleeper to endure the noise & shaking caused by the trucks.

Little unusual spot but don’t be put off. Really good home and location well appointed etc. would go back again without hesitation

Arriving at The Front Office was like walking into a Somerset Maugham novel with the large outdoor palms, the solid leather and wood furniture and the classical library all set in large generous open spaces. We loved the open-plan kitchen/ dining area which provided a perfect place to come together, and share the cooking.

Reviewer Comments:
We stayed at this property for about a week. This is a beautiful property inside with a fantastic kitchen and large is fairly close to the walkway and centre of New Plymouth.( walking distance)The property management company was very responsive for any problems .It is on a State Highway en route to the Port and situated in a car park. The noise level is very high.
