The hotel is warm, friendly and comfortable. It’s lovely to sit in the garden with a glass of wine in good weather. The breakfast is also very good.

Easy check-in, old building, polite and very helpful staff. Good parking. Also a big thank you to the cleaning staff who obviously do a great job as they found our son’s head phones under the sofa and the front desk manager who kindly called us to let us know.

Stayed in the apartment as we were visiting family who live nearby. Very clean, warm spacious and comfortable with lovely linens, well equipped kitchen facilities and a cosy living area. All staff we met were friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast too. In a nice neighbourhood with lovely park nearby. Also good pubs and eateries in low fell. Was great to come back to the hotel on the cold foggy evenings.
Was just what we needed and will book again when we’re next visiting.
