My friends and us stayed the weekend at this unit and had a wonderful relaxing weekend. It was roomy, clean and had everything we need. The kitchen had everything we need. There were books, movies, and games. I have already share our experience with friends and suggested for future stays. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay.

My family & I had a wonderful stay in this rental.
The unit was clean and comfortable in a gorgeous location that truly is the jewel of Florida. The place had everything you would need to cook a meal, and was complete with board games and books as well as WiFi & Netflix…something for everyone. The property owner had excellent communication and was able to work with us to allow an early check-in ( luckily the property was available the night we needed to come into town early…which allowed the accommodation to be made ) I was so grateful for that change to be made possible especially last minute, it was above & beyond expectations. I highly recommend this rental property, and I will definitely rebook this unit again when I return to the Homosassa/Crystal River area with my family.

Lovely country-like setting. Great for outdoor activities and a camp fire for roasting marshmallows for s'mores!
The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to fix Thanksgiving dinner for seven people.
The closets were well stocked with extra pillows and blankets.
There are many activities for all ages nearby.
Tim, the host, was easy to communicate with. Always prompt, courteous and helpful.

Easy to let the world melt away outside. Quiet and peaceful. Kitchen is stocked with utensils and had dinner there every night. Washer and dryer is modern as well so, i did the linens and made it my own. Tim (owner) is nice and seems like a man on the up and up.

Master bedroom fan blades dirty. Other than that it was fine. We did not cook. All we used the rental for was to sleep at night and take a nap during mid-afternoon. We really enjoyed visiting the area...yes we would like to come back someday.

Our stay was a two night stay, had a problem accessing the code for entry, called vrbo to which they called property owner, waited for response was about to cancel when owner contacted us and was able to access. Very clean & cozy 3/2 with all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. Even though we waited for about 45 min. and almost drained by mosquitoes we had a great family stay and enjoyed a quiet and relaxing property.

We were visiting FL from SC and were so excited to find a place right in Homosassa! The house was a great size and was super clean! The host was great at communicating, even when I wasn't great at answering my phone! We would definitely stay here again!

Our vacation in Homosassa was great, and I contribute a lot of it to the memories we made at “the red house”. Tim, the owner, was excellent with communication and even gave tips to us for our fishing journey. The house was properly staged with every necessity we needed. The house was clean and had a welcoming feel. Each room was well laid out, and we had plenty of space. The house is perfectly located - far enough to not be affected by the boat ramp traffic, but close enough to enjoy the amenities (The Ice Cream Barr is amazing!). It’s a short drive (approximately 5-7 minutes) from a park, stores, boat ramps, the zoo, and restaurants. The property offered plenty of parking, an amazing deck/porch, a lot of trees for shade, and some beautiful birds. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, so bike riding and/or evening walks are a perfect way to unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much that we hope to return next year! Please, during your stay, enjoy reading the journal of others that have been there. Thanks Tim for the great stay!

Huge yard with beautiful trees. Very clean and kept up in the inside. Very comfortable and cozy. Owner was a great guy and very welcoming and friendly when I spoke to him over the phone. Can drive a golf cart to anywhere you need to in the area

I wish we had allowed more time to fully explore the many nature walks and activities that are convenient to this property. Sitting on the deck, taking in the birdsong, was a very relaxing way to spend the hours between excursions. The responsiveness of the host to a little bump at checkin encouraged the feeling of being pampered during our stay.

We had the pleasure to stay at the property over New Years 2022. My family came from Germany and we all decided to spent couple of days in Florida. We had everything we needed in the house. The home was exactly as described and was very well inventoried. We had everything we needed to BBQ and have a fish fry. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were extremely comfortable. Communications with the owner were exceptional and he was nice enough to get us an early check-in!

Awesome place very clean comfortable beds master shower was nice and roomy equipped with everything you need dishes towels Wash clothes pillows absolutely everything you need. No complaints. Will stay again in future. We spent our Christmas Holiday there with my Sister and her husband.

Nice place...
We had no issues during our brief stay at the property. As others said, it was clean and very comfortable. We didn't utilize the kitchen facilities, but the beds were great and the bathrooms equally so. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Guys fishing/scalloping trip
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Right down the road from the boat ramp to homosassa river and right around the corner from the entertainment. Timothy was VERY pleasant to work with and was not overbearing like some host I’ve experienced in the past. 100% will be booking more trips at this home soon.
