Perfect our happy place, our third visit. Great location for local walks.

The apartment was for me the perfect base to explore some of the finest scenery this country has to offer. It had all the facilities I needed, was very comfortable and very centrally positioned just off the main street, with easy access to local services. The layout of the apartment was well designed and finished and functioned very well, and clearly is well maintained. From the moment I arrived I dropped into an easy, home-from-home way of living in the accommodation. I would love to stay there again.

To mention anything I'd have to be really picky. A blind on the bedroom window (there is one on the first-floor Juliet balcony window, but not on the ground-floor bedroom window) could be an enhancement, as the window looks out onto and is overlooked by a public thoroughfare between the Main Street and the back road. But hey, that's being picky just to offer a comment here. It certainly would not prevent me from jumping at the chance to stay there again.

Great, spacious cottage right in the heart of Kirkby Stephen. The cottage has been well designed (built by the owner) and fits in sympathetically with the surrounding buildings. It's on a very quiet street with free parking available close by.

Nothing.

Location in Kirkby Stephen was great,

Only thing the bedroom is on the ground floor so we couldn't leave the window open at night. ( I'm pregnant and get very congested at night)
