Nice, close to the Canal and lake. And close to different eating establishments. The front entry was difficult to navigate. Open front door and you’re in a bedroom. Both bedrooms quite small bathroom (at this time) has a big wide high tub and shower. Kitchen quite small. Very little storage in house. Parking tight for our big truck. For those with mobility issues this house was a bit of a challenge. Living room very nice. We enjoyed walking along the water and reading the history about the Erie Canal and Lake.

Great place for a quick stay, convenient location to beach and nice access to canal. House was as posted, clean and cute place. Layout is a little odd (enter home through a bedroom), but didn’t really bother us. Be very cautious of unlevel ground at home entrance, it’s an ankle breaker! Also, there is basically no yard, especially if you park vehicles at property. Would stay there again for a quick getaway.

Very cute and had all amenities you would need for a short stay!! Clean and easy contactless entry!! Close to everything In sylvan! I would def rent again for a short stay if someone were to rent for more than 3 or 4 nights you may want to have a washer and dryer !!

Very comfortable, clean, spacious 2 bedroom cottage a short walk to Main St. restaurants, amusement park and beach. We were delighted with our stay.

We absolutely love the location and the property and all the upgrades. However it appears as if a very deep cleaning is needed. We will absolutely be returning.

Location was great. Walking distance to most anything you want. You enter through one of the bedrooms which was tricky for us with young kids but still a good affordable option. Wish the parking was better & the floors were cleaner but overall it was good & we would stay here again.

Cottage was as advertised and as shown in the photos. Consumable supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc. as well as wash cloths and bath towels were provided in generous amounts. Beds were very comfortable.
Location was ideal - walkable to the canal, beach,
amusement park, casino and downtown area.
Only area that we felt could use some attention was the entrance into the cottage. The distance that you have to step up was a little bit awkward for one of our group that has issues with their knees. Its not terrible and won't be an issue for most everyone.

At first glance the place was very nice. After being there you realized that the floors were filthy! I walked around in bare feet and my feet were black. Listing says unit is deep cleaned after every visit. This is clearly not the truth.

We loved this home. It's the perfect size for a small family to stay. It's cozy and clean and has everything you need for your stay.
The street the home is on dead ends right into the canal. Its nice to watch the boats go by. It's also walking distance to the beach, the amusement park and most of the restaurants in the area.
We had a great time and loved staying here!

This is our second time staying this summer here and we loved everything about this home! Perfect location to walk around to get food and go to the beach. Place is so clean and cozy. Thank you for another wonderful long weekend away!!

Great place, Parking... not so much. Would have liked to have met the owners.. We're old & like to have some kind of personal contact. We're shake hands types & not so much into the computer age. Would like to suggest that the step used to enter, be leveled off. A couple of foldable luggage racks would be helpful. The decorations were very tastefully done.

Cozy Cottage with a great location!
We stayed with another couple and we all loved the cottage. We will definitely stay again! The location is great. The cottage was tastefully decorated and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cooking utensils. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice that they were queen sized beds. One of the best things for us was that we could dock our boat in the canal near the cottage. We could walk to all the restaurants and bars but stay in a quiet part of town. The owners are very nice and responded to my questions quickly. One word of caution... Don't park on the street in front of the house. One of our cars was partially on the street and we got a $50 ticket. Live and learn.

Great location! Nicely decorated and very clean!
We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again. We were walking distance to all of the restaurants and bars, amusement part, etc. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Check in was simple and communication with the owners was great.

Sylvan Beach
The rental was clean and supplied with the necessary kitchen items and plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable and the shower/tub were awesome with plenty of hot water. Air conditioning and ceiling fans made it very comfortable. It was also a very quiet location near the canal with easy access for walking to Sylvan Beach, where the sunsets were absolutely beautiful. Restaurants were good but recommend going early due to crowds and most all were closed on Monday & Tuesday. There were heavy rains in the area prior to arriving with many local residents saying the canal and lake were extremely high and similar to 2013. Easy access for day trips including: Oswego/Ontario Lake, Delta Lake State Park, Cazenovia, and Chittenago Falls. Enjoyed the stay!!

Great property and location
Perfect location for Sylvan Beach. Everything was within walking distance. It was nice hearing the sounds of summer out on the deck. Neighbors were friendly too.

Great place to stay
Property is clean and well maintained. Cute little coffee station. Plenty of room. The only downside in our opinion was that you walked right into a bedroom. Would’ve rather had it set up in the back where the living room was for privacy and convenience. Other than that it was a great place and would recommend!
