Went down for a week of fishing. Hit a cold windy first few days and that slowed the bite.
Overall had a great time the place was clean and spacious

The house itself was great. It was spotless. There was a large open area including the kitchen, family room, and dining area, with plenty of a windows to give a view of the canal. The kitchen had new-high end appliances. We had never stayed in a manufactured home before so we were not sure what to expect. It was extremely specious with high ceilings. There is an enclosed lanai with plenty of seating and a TV. There is a long dock, with seating, allowing for fishing and watching the wildlife. Using the huge hot tub at the end of each day was perfect. By the dock is a gas grill and a charcoal grill. We would grill out every night while looking out over the water.
We saw an amazing display of wildlife. There was a bald eagles nest a few doors down, 2 large and colorful iguanas would sunbath in a tree across the canal. We saw dolphins and even a few manatees swim by.
There are 2 tiki bars a few blocks away and it was great to take the golf cart there.
We wanted to take a family trip that seemed like we were visiting a tropical island, and this definitely was even better than we were imagining.
Luis is a great host. He was friendly and very responsive to communicate with.
I cannot recommend this property enough for anyone looking for an island getaway. My family can't wait to go back.

The house was perfect for our trip. It was only a 20 minute drive to the ferry dock where we met up with friends staying on North Captiva. The house was very comfy and cozy with plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub both morning and at night. We were able to walk to the general store as well as to Froggys and Phizzy’s. Both places had good food and live music! It’s a quaint and quiet location. We would definitely stay again.

I can't say enough good things about this property. The listing information and pictures were very accurate, and the house and grounds were very clean and comfortable. Very impressive just a few months after a devastating storm. I love St James City and visit there a few times every summer. I had seen this property listed before and had considered booking it, but the water access worried me as I was unfamiliar with the channel and canal leading to open water. As it turned out, it was no problem at all. Now that I know, this property will be high on my list for future visits. Communication with the owner was very easy. There was an issue with the A/C when we arrived, but Luis had it resolved before we returned from dinner, and we had no further problems. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone.

First time staying in St James City and this place was perfect for 4-6 guests. We brought our boat and the dock area was perfect. Very close to restaurants and fun local bars. Great time!

We choose this place because we wanted a place with a dock for our boat and good access to the Gulf. It was perfect. The house was larger than expected and the dock and boat lift was perfect. Our grandkids loved the swim spa. There was great access by boat to barrier island shell beaches. If your coming to fish, hunt shells or just boat ride and be outside this is the place.

Tranquility Villa was one of the highest quality properties we have stayed in since renting thru Vrbo.
We loved Luis' quick response when we had a few needs & his openness to let us know that the problem couldn't be immediately resolved without a part he would obtain early the next day. In the meantime an alternate heat source was supplied for us during an unexpected " Cold Snap "
We so enjoyed the water in the channel outside, as it was available for kayaking ( kayaks supplied ) We were captivated
by the many birds attracted to the water each day as we sat outside and enjoyed coffee or breakfast Pelicans, Herons, Egrets and Kingfisher all on the search for the plentiful fish we observed in the water each day..
We were able to take advantage of a huge hot tub once the weather warmed and that was GREAT!!!
Home was well stocked with any an all things you could need,
beds were comfy with exceptional bedding so fresh and clean.
the screen porch was very nice * all high end furnishings * we didn't use the exercise equipment, but it was available should we have cared to ; along with bikes and a golf for fun travel thru out the neighborhood. We all agreed we would no hesitate to come back again.

Perfect getaway
This is our second time staying at the property and we had yet another great experience. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The addition of the swim spa was wonderful after a day out on the water it was great to come back and relax in the spa. Luis is a wonderful host and I hope we can come back again!

One of the best paces we have stayed.
This vacations have set very high the bar! We had a unforgettable vacation and this property was perfect for us. Everything was clean and well organized. Luis was easy to communicate with, answered every question and always helped. All the amenities in the house were excellent! The kids enjoyed the jacuzzi, my in law loved the massage chair, the place was safe for our pets, the sunsets were gorgeous from the deck, the boat was safe in the slip. The area was beautiful, the beach excellent. We found wild animals every day, manatees, turtles, dolphins, birds and fishes.
Our family had one of the best vacations time ever.

We would definitely come here again! We have stayed in several VRBO’s and this was by far the cleanest, the most cutely decorated, and they thought of everything. We cooked most nights and had everything we needed. My husband said that if he had only brought his boat we could’ve stayed forever. We got to meet the owners in person and they were phenomenal. We met the neighbors and they, too, were phenomenal. We hope they let us come back again!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved staying in this home. It’s spacious and beautiful and the location is excellent. The only issue was that many things weren’t working at the time of our visit- the hot tub heater, the outside fridge and the golf cart. All things we would have loved to use.
Once those are fixed, I would highly recommend this property!

The property is as described, spacious ,clean, with access to the canal where we were able to spend some time watching the manatees pass by and enjoying the sunset. Luis was very responsive to our inquiries and requests, it was a pleasure dealing with him. We were looking for time to relax and enjoy our short vacation. and everything went smooth. Our family and friends had such a great time staying at the property. It was very clean and spacious. We loved being able to bring our boat and explore the area around Pine Island. Luis was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We would love to stay there again!

Definite tranquility
This property was spectacular. The name Tranquility Villa is spot on!!! We enjoyed our time there immensely. It is very clean, well stocked and so relaxing. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home.
