This was our first time to the area, and the house was a great place to stay. It’s only a few minutes from Gunstock, groceries, etc. really beautiful area! Meghan is really helpful, and extremely easy to communicate with. The home has all the essentials you need. It’s a really unique layout— I can see larger family gatherings really loving the space. The yard is also really nice— with a great fire pit, deck, etc. if we are back in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate staying here!

The house was very clean, accomodating and large. The layout is awesome and very unique. So many windows and views of the sky, no wonder its called the glass house. Thanks for allowing us to stay. The owner is very easy to communicate with. Its on the same road as gunstock resort. Def worth the rental. Highly recommended.

The property itself was beautiful gorgeous view. The inside of the house was clean. The only negative things were that it was extremely cold in the house, and the little heaters that were provided, and some of the rooms were not effective enough. The other thing is that the beds were extremely hard for all of us and uncomfortable. I think if they just added mattress toppers, and some additional heating elements place would have five stars.

We enjoyed a wonderful week with room (and beds) for all! The house was perfectly clean and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The well-tended, terraced front yard is shielded from the street and features a rustic fire pit and an elevated large porch with grill and seating area, where we did most of our cooking. The entry level has a nice working kitchen that opens up to a spacious eating area and (our favorite) sun room! The second floor has a full living room, additional dining table and chairs (6) perfect for games or listening to music, 3 bedrooms (full, 2-twins, single twin) and bathroom, half flight up is another full bedroom, and on the top floor is the master king bedroom with sitting room overlooking the yard and the mountains beyond. On a clear day you can see a slice of the lake. The laundry was a great benefit! Lots of little extras like night lights, first aid kit, and provided linens made it so easy. Garbage pick up (no trip to the dump) was awesome. We were delighted and would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves.
Convenient to grocery stores, outlets, Ellacoya State Park/Beach and Weirs Beach/FunSpot for the one rainy day.

My son got married in Laconia, only 8 miles away. The house is easy to find, off the highway, and tons of parking. Fully equipped kitchen and out door grill made it easy to cook for rehearsal dinner!
The owners even had dog crates and dog bowls waiting for our furry family members.
Even with one AC on the 3rd floor, there was plenty of fans to keep the house comfortable! The open concept was perfect for air flow and acoustics. Laundromat made it easy to wash sheets for our revolving door, with people staying on different nights.
To top it all off…. There was ping pong table and life size connect-4 to keep us entertained.
We would definitely stay again, hopefully less hectic!!

My husband, my 2 adult children and our dog spent a week at this property.
Place was clean. Beds were comfortable.
Plenty of room to spread out. Centrally located for all we wanted to do.
Megan was easy to communicate with.
Liked that they had a dog tie out right outside the sliding doors which was pefect for our dog.
We were concerned that the house wasn't AC, but with all the fans and layout of the house it only felt warm onlwhen i used the oven.
Ping pong table was a fun addition that we made use of.
Kitchen was stocked well enough to be able to cook a few meals there.
We would rent again if we every decide to vacation in that area again.

This was a wonderful stay with our 2 dogs during the summer. Wonderful location, very clean house, and lots of fun memories. We will definitely be back! If you’re second guessing, take our word and book this place if you can!

My husband and I, our 2 adult children and their families were together for the weekend. Everyone had a great time. The kids ( ages 4 & 5 loved the house. Our infant was great. The adults all said the same thing. It was a very comfortable and relaxing place. We were hoping to ski, but the weather didn’t allow it. We had a blast anyway, perhaps we’ll ski another time. Thank you Megan for your kindness.

Some friends and I stayed here for the weekend, and we loved the house! Plenty of space and rooms for us, and we enjoyed the ping pong table as well. Enough parking for about 6 trucks. The host, Megan, was awesome! She was super communicative with me and always available for questions/help. Would definitely recommend Megan as a host and this house!

This is a great find! Property is so close to Gunstock, which made it perfect for the ski weekend. There is ample room for the kids to hang out and play! Highly recommend for a families!

Great stay overall. The house was clean and made available to us just a little early, as Megan knew we were traveling overnight to arrive and the cleaners had left early.
The property had everything we needed. Beds were all comfortable, pack and play for our infant, dog friendly (welcoming of our beloved pets) and outdoor space to relax. We ended up spending family time together each night watching a movie (I guess this is what happens when the entire family is exhausted from sight seeing and just needed time to chill! lol).
Kitchen was equipped with a coffee maker (which we did not use), pots and pans for making meals at home, and plenty of silverware/plates to accommodate our entire family. If you're looking for condiments or otherwise - plan ahead and bring these, the refrigerator is clean and free of any leftovers :)
Town was close to get any of your last minute needs. We visited in the fall, so the beach area was pretty quiet, but we ended up partaking in some of the local restaurants and hiking - which far outweighed the beach in our opinion! Great local breweries and restaurants. Fantastic hiking.
Tip or suggestion - be patient when dining out. It appears most restaurants are understaffed and a bit overwhelmed. Not sure if this is COVID related or seasonal. Either way, don't let that deter you from going out - there are many hidden gems in the area.
I cannot wait to come back. The area brought a sense of calm for the family and refreshing time outdoors. Loved every bit of it! Megan was a great host. She was quick to respond, kind and welcoming, and has great recommendations for anything you need.

The house and yard were as described. I would definitely rent again in the summer months once the rest of the house has air conditioning. Without it, we were very uncomfortable during the first three days. I can see that the “Window House” is a fantastic ski house rental. The host, Megan, was very prompt to respond to me. It turned out to be a great vacation once the temperature came down.

We had a great time at the Glasshouse! Plenty of space for our party of 9 (6 adults, 3 kids) with lots of board games, a giant connect four, ping pong table, corn hole boards and fire pit. There’s a piano in the house so unless someone is an accomplished player, expect a lot of cacophony from the kids! Location was good, 5 minutes to Gunstock, 15 minutes to Weirs Beach, 30 minutes to Wolfeboro. The road is moderately busy so you can hear some traffic during the night and there’s no sidewalk, so taking a morning stroll could be tricky. Property is not secluded but plenty of space between neighbors with wooded area in the back. No air conditioning except for the master bedroom, so if it’s hot sleeping may be a bit uncomfortable. Weather was very nice except for our first night so this wasn’t an issue. Overall though, a great place to stay with a large or extended family. Would definitely go back!

Great stay at Megan’s Glasshouse
5 star stay. The house was very clean, nice, and we loved the spacious layout. Plenty of parking too. We enjoyed the games that were at the house especially the ping pong table. Megan was a fantastic host and her communication was excellent. She answered all my questions very quickly. Highly recommend!
