Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Silver Mist is in a nice location closer to the Gualala side of Sea Ranch but it doesn't have a view. The house was spacious and clean but feels on the older side, meaning hasn't been renovated in a long time. The lighting is odd, like the kitchen has basically flood lights in there so it's either blinding or dark. Some lights have dimmers. It is not well stocked. I've never been to a rental that didn't have the basics, like oil or vinegar. If you plan on cooking, bring all of your ingredients, they only supply you with salt. They also ask that you start a load of laundry when you leave but they don't supply you with detergent. That means most guests are likely washing the towels with no detergent. They have a hot tub which was nice. Usually I prefer a view from the hot tub but we went in the winter during a storm so it was nice to have it walled in so that it wasn't windy. The rental agency employees are great.

It’s close to town and made getting back and forth for meals quick and easy. I would recommend staying at this house,
