We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful house. The location was quiet and relaxing, surrounded by nature, and close to the river. The house had everything we needed. It was clean, cozy, and very confortable. We would definitely come back!

We didn't use laundry service. There was no available wood for fireplace or firepit. Accommodations were very good. Plenty of amenities which made our trip very enjoyable!! The lodge was pretty clean when we entered. Back patio and kitchen stove could have used a cleaning, but overall the place was clean and very nice! Kitchen had adequate dinnerware and appliances available for our use. Could have used a few more garbage bags for trash. Plenty of towels and sheets. TV entertainment was adequate, but someone must have logged out of the pre-programmed TV apps so we couldn't use them, but no big loss because there was plenty of other things to do for entertainment. Bathrooms and Bedrooms were very adequate and cozy. The boot/glove dryers in the garage came in very handy! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay here again. Hosts were also very responsive to online questions.

Beautiful house and a perfect location for a Whiteface ski trip

We rented this cottage March 10-14 to ski at Whiteface mountain. The cottage is beautiful and large enough to accommodate 10 people. 14 would be a bit crowded. The location couldn’t have been better. You can see the slopes from the cottage and it’s a 4 minutes drive to the ski hill. The property is located in a secluded area in the woods which makes it very charming. Everything was perfect except the kitchen and floors were not very clean. Upon our arrival we had to clean kitchen cabinets, the fridge, floors, and carpets. At least, bathrooms were clean. The water in the hot tub was also dirty even if the water was changed before our arrival. With additionally cleaning (by us), we were able to use it in our 3rd night. Bring your own face clothes, dish clothes and towels for the hot tub. There is a washing machine, but it has a strong musty smell; we didn’t use it. There is a nice fireplace. Bring wood if you wish to have a fire. Game room was fun. Bring your own Ping Pong balls; the ones provided are too soft/cheap. Overall a great place, except don’t expect a 9.8/10 for cleanliness!
