Villa Tornavento is a new stone built contemporary private villa in Cortona, Tuscany, which has been recently built on the foundations of a twelve century house.

Roots are ancient but modern is keyword and we expressed this with white wooden ceiling and antique terracotta floor. Minimalist luxury is the philosophy by which we were inspired in order to ensure the best balance between the real Tuscan living and a pure relaxing experience. We named the house Tornavento in honour of the fresh and light breeze that touches the house during summer and caresses the green tops of olive trees. The villa dominates its land and from it you can always see olive trees always dancing with the light wind and enjoy the sound of it.


Tornavento has a wonderful marble pool, a modern kitchen, two large living rooms and five double bedrooms, each of them has a private bathroom. We carefully chose contemporary art pieces to enrich the house with powerful colours. Facilities like TV, Wi-fi will make your stay ever better. The pool is simply a wonderful architectural masterpiece: the marble and its colours are in symbiosis with the surrounding nature. It is situated by the house and offers the same view on Cortona, enriched by the infinity pool.


The olive trees garden all around the house will offer you more than ten thousands of private immersion into nature. The reason we love this house is because it sits on a wonderful and private spot that offers a unique view of Cortona and the Valdichiana valley. When the sky is bright the view goes even further till Trasimeno lake. You will be able to see and explore our beautiful land between Valdorcia and Valdichiana.
