The hosts were excellent, they made our stay pleasant. The house was very clean and full amenities. Highly recommend.

Great for families. Location is great but there is train noise. Overall a great value in Carlsbad.

Very nice Spanish style home with every appliance you could dream of. Property managers were very available for any questions. Perfect location and walking distance to ocean.

The house in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach and walking trails. It is well kept, clean and has plenty of ocean air breeze as it's close to the beach. If you like to cook there are plenty of supplies. The yard is nice for outdoor meals. Easy and prompt communication with the rental property. It's a short drive to the village, outlet malls etc unless you like long walks.

We actually booked here last min after a failed stay at a well known hotel. Thankfully we found this listing. Our stay here was hands down a great choice.

Experience was great. We needed something close to Pendleton and Carlsbad Blvd for a friend’s retirement ceremonies. This fit the bill. Walking to the beach was a big bonus. Only reason for minus one star on the “location/neighborhood” category, was the neighborhood was filled with copious parked cars along the roads, including encroaching the driveway to the property, one of which was a behemoth RV that obscured the entire view from the front porch. Lovely home. Carlsbad was good to us. Thank you

Loved this property. So close to beach, legoland and the bouncey houses at Carlsbad Strawberry. House was set up for kids. Will stay there when we go back.

My family really enjoyed staying in this home. There was plenty of room for my family of 6. My children are all over the age of 12 so having enough space for them to sleep comfortably is really important. This house had plenty of bed space as well as more than enough living room, dining room and kitchen space for our family. We also enjoyed the backyard. We were able to eat outside on the patio, grill and enjoy a fire in the evenings. The beach access was about a 15 minute walk but we were also able to pack up our vehicle and drive to the beach within a few minutes. Another advantage to this property is the ease of parking in the driveway and the garage. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in a comfortable home within close proximity to the beach.

Property was in older neighborhood and train runs behind property but other than that, home was beautiful and well stocked. Nice yard and easy quick walk to beach. Very easy to communicate with owners. Would definitely stay here again and recommend property to others.

We truly enjoyed staying at Casa Terramar. The location was exactly as described and it embraced the Spanish style in the decor. Every amenity and detail was considered: from excellent mattresses to games to utilize. The location is also very close to the beach, park and LEGOLAND. My family truly enjoyed visiting all three. There is a train that runs behind the house periodically but it doesn’t take away from the house and atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again!

We were so happy to stay here. It was a nice and clean home in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space to spread out. It was a short 15 minute walk to the beach, and a quick car ride to Downtown Carlsbad for the bars. Slept 6 easily. No A/C as advertised but there are plenty of screen doors to create a cross breeze. The property manager, Nick, was very helpful throughout the process, especially via text message during our stay.

We totally enjoyed our stay here! The beach was an easy walk to and there is a park near by for little ones. Our grandchildren loved going to the park! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with all the items needed, along with snacks and beverages to greet us. Beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed having a fire place and did use it most mornings. This rental worked out so well for us and we hope it's available the next time we come to Carlsbad.
