The Old Rectory

Great location great rooms - definitely be returning

Near beach . Outdoor seating . Great for base to explore the area . Good breakfast in conservatory . Nice garden area .

Small sink with water heater in bathroom . Not big enough to wash face . Shower not very powerful . The towels were spit through thin

Beautiful location rooms were clean and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great lots of choice and delicious. We booked 3 rooms and all were clean and comfortable. We all had fantastic nights sleep 👍

The property itself was beautiful shame about owners

Advertised as a dog friendly place but not so. Heard the owner to tell one resident to shut the dog up and stop it from barking. Owner rang to see if we were still arriving. When we arrived again although advertised as a dog friendly hotel I don’t think they were. Was told that the owner would see me the next morning at breakfast to sort out the payment for the dogs and never saw her. No power to sockets when we arrived back at the room Saturday evening but it was sorted quite efficiently. We were bringing an extra 7 for breakfast on the Sunday morning but after the way the owner spoke to me we decided to leave before breakfast. Told him I was not paying any extra for the dogs because of their attitude. He told me he would take it to a small claims court. I told him to do whatever he needed to, to which he replied “don’t worry we know where you live”
