It was conveniently located (close to metro stations, stores and so on), had everything we needed and even more, the host was friendly and let us check-in earlier. It is also a bit more spacious than it looks from the pictures.

The area itself is not ideal for solo traveling but we were in a group so it was pretty okay, especially during the day. We saw a few cockroaches, and here and there it was a bit dusty. Maybe would also be good to establish bars on another window for safety reasons.

L'emplacement était idéal pour nous et il y avait le nécessaire pour 4 dans le logement. Nous avons apprécié le calme et la fraicheur des lieux

A localização

Prédio antigo, banheiro antigo, quarto grande mas acessível por escada e teto baixo

The host met us and kindly showed us where to find grocery stores and restaurants. This is an apartment, with more space to spread out, which we appreciated after staying in small hotel rooms in other cities. The washer/dryer was a BIG plus at the end of our trip. For being in such a busy neighborhood, the apartment was quiet. Speaking of the neighborhood, it is culturally very diverse, so it will give you a different perspective of Paris, away from the touristy areas.

First, there really is only one bed, up in the loft. The way up is more of a ladder than stairs, and unless you're a child, you'll have to crouch at the top. (Not a surprise; just be forewarned.) The couch bed downstairs was very hard and unusable; moreover, oddly, it was made up with a comforter but no bottom sheet. The bath mat hadn't been washed from the previous guests. If you are tall or big, you'll have a hard time negotiating the toilet because it is placed right against the wall. It's on a raised, tiled platform (to take advantage of gravity, one assumes) and is thus closer to the ceiling.
