Sopra il villaggio di Valdaora, con vista sulla pittoresca Val Pusteria, vi accoglie lo chalet "Obereggeralm". L'appartamento per le vacanze, di 120 m², si trova in una casa del 16° secolo ed è arredato in stile alpino con materiali di alta qualità e molto legno. Si sviluppa su due piani ed è composto da una zona giorno aperta, una cucina molto ben attrezzata con lavastoviglie, 3 camere da letto e 2 bagni e può ospitare 6 persone. Tra i servizi aggiuntivi figurano la connessione Wi-Fi, la TV via cavo/satellite e la lavatrice, mentre la culla e il seggiolone sono disponibili su richiesta. Dal balcone si può godere di una magnifica vista panoramica e la sera ci si può rilassare davanti al camino con un bicchiere di vino per concludere la giornata. All'appartamento appartiene anche un giardino con parco giochi. La casa si trova direttamente sulla pista da sci del comprensorio sciistico di Plan de Corones ed è accessibile tutto l'anno. Al di fuori della stagione sciistica è possibile esplorare la zona attraverso numerosi sentieri escursionistici. Grazie alla sua cucina autentica, la Obereggeralm è un luogo d'incontro popolare per escursionisti e sciatori. We spent 5 nights and days in this amazing property owned by a family of chefs, restauranteurs and farm owners. The host family could not have been more gracious or more helpful with helping to plan our daily hiking excursions with expert tips. The exquisitely renovated barn was a luxury to wake in and come home to in the afternoons and the views are unmatchable. The photos on VRBO are attractive and accurate, no doubt, but they can’t even fully demonstrate the beauty of the barn, both inside and out. This property would be perfect for a couple to get away or for a full family to relax and experience the Dolomites in its true remote and alpine beauty.

We arrived after a long drive and were immediately met by two impressive figures... the view of the Dolomites and Alex the owner. The view of the Dolomite is intimidating and awe inspiring. Alex is warm and generous.. the perfect host. The juxtaposition of the two figures was the backdrop of our entire stay. The warmth and cozyness of the chalet is a direct reflection of the proprietor and his family. Every detail is to perfection like German timepiece, yet inviting. So much so, my daughter slept 17 hours in the first 24 hours we were there... it just feels like... home. If you are seeking a world class view of the Dolomites out your front door and a bespoke experience from a world class proprietor, you found your place. I will be coming back. My only regret is that we booked 3 short nights.

If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful chalet. The chalet was fully equipped and beautifully decorated with cozy places to relax and unwind. Alex and his family were amazing hosts, providing us with recommendations for places to go and delicious homemade treats. The location is off the beaten path - perfect if you're looking to explore without so many crowds.

From the welcoming & very clean home, to Alex and his wonderful and talented family, to some of the most incredible food we ever ate, our stay at this home was perfect and very hard to leave! We truly hope to be back one day!
