This property is everything you could ask for. It is tucked away nicely into the hills with an amazing property you can walk and breathe deeply. But it is close enough to town that you can make the market shipping and dinner within a 5 min drive (once you figure out how to get your GPS to get you to the gate and not climb a mountain, follow the owner's directions). The beds were comfy, the showers were clean and water hot! My wife loved everything about this weekend including this house!! Thank you so much for letting us stay the weekend!

The house was as described however I didn't notice there wasn't a full kitchen, so that's something to consider when staying this far out. The beds were super comfy and there was plenty of room for our four adults and the screened-in porch was perfect for hanging out. The house was very clean and decorated super cute.
Oh, and don't follow your google maps to the house, follow the directions emailed to you (they are very detailed and exact). Otherwise, you'll end up nowhere close to the house!
The only complaints I have is the charging for things that I've always had without charge (late check out/early check in) and there wasn't a lot "starter" toiletries in the house so we had to buy trash bags and toilet paper.

House is clean and just what we needed for a quick family getaway. My only complaint is the link and written directions sent on our confirmation were not accurate and could use more clarity. When I called the property group to get help, the lady read the exact directions I had in the email, which was not helpful. We ended up finding the house on our own and it took us 45 minutes longer than anticipated. Please be aware, the physical address doesn't work on maps or google maps, and the written instructions sent weren't clear. Other than the direction fiasco, we enjoyed our stay.

The house is quaint, private and beautiful. The scenery is spectacular. Coffee outside in the covered seating area was so nice every morning. I can’t say enough good things.

The property was beautiful! I have 3 items I think could be improved on: 1. I'm a tea drinker and the selection and sweetener choices were ridiculous (no honey and stevia was rock hard, tea was a hodge podge of open and random cheap stuff). 2. If you arrive at night the signage of where to park and enter your unit was hard to see and confusing (at least for us, but we did arrive around midnight). 3. There are 2 gates to get in, both times the directions sent us to the wrong gate. There are "extra" directions, but they were not highlighted as importantly as I felt they should be!. This is all small stuff, but just our honest experience. But it was a beautiful location and clean home.

Very peaceful stay up the hill from the township of Wimberley. We enjoyed the deer, cuckoos, golden cheek warbler, cardinals and other birds. The guesthouse was clean a d comfortable with two bathrooms, and enough space for a family with two teenagers to spread out. Had a wonderful stay, thank you!

Place was spacious, area surrounding are peaceful, nice trail, great area views. Met the owners who responded to all questions and were very friendly. Place is close to Wimberly. Good Wi-Fi.

This guest house was perfect for our family of three. It was very convenient to the local attractions, clean, and well furnished. The grounds were very peaceful with a lovely walking path. We will definitely be back!

Blown away! The property description does not adequately detail the spectacular location. Located high above Wimberly with panoramic hill country views within a few yards walk. My two sisters and I absolutely adored this spacious guest house, the grounds, its privacy, seclusion and beauty. Immaculately clean, comfy and cozy. Hiking trails and deer all around. Five minute gorgeous drive to town. My only request would be better signage with directions for arrival on where to park and maybe a sign with an arrow stating "this way to guest house" as it looks like a large garage from the street side. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

The guest house shares the very large lot with the larger house. The house is on top of a hill, an 8-9 minute drive into town. House was comfortable and clean, though we used it mostly for sleeping. Might have been on the small side for 5 people if we wanted to spend a lot of time there. Kitchenette is limited, no stove/small fridge, but lots of eating options in town. Would happily stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here in this adorable guesthouse. The beds were very comfortable and we especially enjoyed sitting on the screened in patio with our coffee in the morning.
The link given for the directions did not take us to the correct property but when we put in the actual address we went straight to it. Management was helpful and patient getting us there. There were a couple of pcs of furniture that had broken or loose legs, which we reported, so I am sure they will be taken care of. It was not perfectly clear that the only method of cooking is a microwave, so don’t expect to cook a full meal that requires an oven or stove. Maybe we read the description wrong, but nobody in our party realized this. It was not a problem for us, but I do think it should be made obvious. These are all minor details, and not meant to take away from the enjoyment of the place. Just minor things renters should be aware of.

Perfect if you want to get away from it all. Quiet spot on the top of a hill with only wildlife around. We enjoyed the tranquility of this adorable spot for the second year in a row. Follow the written directions to the house. GPS will get you lost.

Our VRBO was spectacular!!! Clean and beautifully decorated. Peaceful... Nice screened in patio well appointed kitchenette. And bonus! Surprise gift of fresh tomatoes from the garden was given to us! Highly recommend staying here!!

Could not have asked for a more perfect retreat from the exhausting weekend of events that were scheduled at TXST for our daughter at NSO (new student orientation). We managed to find time to enjoy San Marcos, New Braunfels and of course Wimberley as we Celebrated my husband's birthday during this time. Gino and his wife were very accommodating and a pleasure to talk to. I can't wait to visit again.

Great getaway!
The house was very nice with scenic views. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the yard and sitting on the screened in porch. Google’s directions took us there the back way (quite an adventure) so follow the directions in the check-in e-mail.

Perfect Getaway
The property is beautifully located high on a hill with lovely scenery. It was the perfect place for us to relax and take some quiet times for ourselves. It's just minutes away from Wimberley so shopping and restaurants are easily accessible.

Although hard to find due to Google maps (please use provided directions from host instead of GPS) it was worth the wait. This little garage apartment is adorable and the hilltop location is quiet and relaxing.

Lovely property and an (almost too) hidden gem
Once we arrived we were so pleased with the property. The back area was so spread out. Our son had the best time exploring. The inside is beautifully done and was the perfect space for our family of four. The bar area doubled nicely as a kitchen for us and we had everything we needed without having to leave the property. I would recommend arriving in the daylight as we had an extremely difficult time locating it in the dark. Our main landmark was a sign on the gate but unfortunately the bushes had grown high and were covering the sign so we weren’t sure we had found the right place. Overall we loved our time here and it felt like a home away from home.
