Very quite, light stream in the back yard that was relaxing to hear

The house was not cleaned prior to our arrival! Dirty towels, unmade beds. It was an awful sight.

The rental itself was great! Very warm and cozy. The location was great for our ski day at Mount Snow. A great time was had by all!!!
We brought paper plates and plastics knives forks and spoons but the few things we did use pots and coffee cups needed to be cleaned before use.

The cabin was adorable, well appointed, comfortable and clean. The location, on a back road up a mountain, was ideal, quiet, isolated
The service was less than what I expected. This was not the fault of ownership.
1) The fireplace was not in service. It is featured in the pictures, and a major reason I chose this cabin. When I "spoke" to the booking agent, I was told that it is not "listed" in the amenities. It does list a woodturning stove. While this is true, The list of amenities does not mention the fireplace, it is shown and featured in the pictures. I find this to be intentionally misleading.
2) The locks on the doors did not operate properly. The front door combination deadbolt would not close unless we lifted the door as hard as we could. Again, I mentioned this to the booking agent, and nothing was done. In order to leave or enter, we needed to use the back door, and walk through deep snow, sometimes in the dark.
3) There were no instructions regarding the garbage. We filled the garbage in the kitchen, and I asked both the booking agent and the caretaker (who texted me re the fireplace) what to do with our garbage, and no one responded. I asked the caretaker three times, no response.
I expected better service. I found the service to be below par, and not acceptable.

Great location close to skiing. Comfortable accommodations, plenty of room for our family. Kitchen tools and appliances were nice.
Front door keypad appeared to not be working. Working fireplace would have been the cherry on top!
