Madams Hill House Killarney
Madams Hill House Killarney is a short 5-minute drive from the bustling town of Killarney in County Kerry. Situated on an elevated site you and your guests will love the stunning mountain views from this large holiday home close to Killarney National Park.
A number of country roads surround this pet-friendly holiday home, a wonderful base for country walks with your beloved family dog. From here you can easily explore the many beautiful sites that surround Killarney such as Ross Castle located 4km away in Killarney National Park and easily reachable on foot.
Property layout – Ground floor:
-Living room with comfy sofas, open fire, TV, DVD player and stereo/CD player
-Second living room leading out to garden via patio doors.
-Open plan large kitchen and dining room
-Utility room providing extra storage
-Bedroom 1: kingsize ensuite with shower sleeping 2
-Bedroom 2: double sleeping 2
-Family bathroom with bath and shower attachment, hand basin and toilet
Property layout – First floor:
-Bedroom 3: kingsize sleeping 2
-Bedroom 4: twin sleeping 2
-Separate shower room with toilet
Outside Madams Hill House Killarney is a large sloped lawned garden where you and your guests can relax and take in the pretty mountain views and distant town views of Killarney.
Towels are provided within the house.

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
3. Stag & Hen Parties:
There are no hens/stag parties permitted at Madam’s Hill House Killarney.
4. Internet access:
Unfortunately, there is no Internet access within the holiday home.

The garden is not enclosed and is close to a roadway. Good size for 8 adults. Quiet location. Close to town and National Park. Nice kitchen facilties. Ceiling stained in kitchen from previous water leak. We had trouble with the heat, particularly upstairs. Towels and linens could be updated.

Spent a fantastic week at Madam's Hill in Killarney. My daughter and her boyfriend stayed also as well as our family dog. There was plenty of room for everyone and the location was close to everything! We could walk to Lidle, a garage, chemist etc as well as a hotel. There was a bar at the top of the hill in Old Killarney Village which was in walking distance. Lovely views of the mountains so it was a pleasure to walk the dog everyday. Lots of room in the garden for the dog but we always had her on a lead as there is no fence or gate. There was everything you could think of in the house so it really was like a home away from home. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Madam's Hill for a holiday especially with your dog as there was lots of lovely walks around the area. Derry the manager was quick to reply with any questions I had & left lots of information leaflets in the drawer of local attractions and restaurants which was extremely helpful. Hope to visit again very soon!

Took a few minutes to find the key lockbox as it is around the opposite side of the porch. Easy entry after that. House cold on arrival but found instructions and got boiler started.
Good space inside and very good kitchen/diner. Bedrooms spacious Showers are a slight problem. Two electric but can only have one switched in at a time.
