The house was great for us with the number of bedrooms. The house is spacious with a game room that worked out well for our 12 year old grandson. The grandkids really loved the pool. It was clean and very shaded which worked great for our two redheads. The Florida sun can be brutal in July! We loved driving on the beach which was a new experience. Nice quiet neighborhood near St. Augustine. The only complaint we had was there was not enough silverware to make it through the day if we cooked three meals. Beds are comfortable and we would highly recommend for a family with children.

Simple and great place to stay.

Very clean big house within walking distance to the beach. We stayed for a week and spent time walking to the beach, hanging out at the pool and riding the bikes we rented locally. The house was the perfect size - big enough for 6 adults, 1 i year old and a baby. We all had plenty of room to spread out or to have a game night in the dining room. The backyard was a huge plus with green space, a pool and a jacuzzi. Very clean and the owners were very responsive and helpful.

A large home with nice size bedrooms for everyone. A spacious living room and beautiful kitchen. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Proximity to the beach and downtown Saint Augustine was wonderful.

This house was everything we expected! Back yard was great! A lot of room for everyone , great location to beach, house was very clean and comfortable. Host was very easy to communicate with, let us know everything we needed . Will be back to stay at this house. Definitely recommend!!

The home was very accommodating for a family of 10 celebrating a college graduation for my niece. Pool, spa and fire pit were great. Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was wonderful for cooking. Would suggest a better grill for outside as that was not very good to cook hamburgers and such. All in all it was a wonderful stay and the owners access for communication was awesome.

Easy check in/check out. The house presented as displayed on VRBO. Spacious, clean and perfect location to get some rest and relaxation. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. The pool and spa were beautiful. Located near the beach, the walk was short. We had an opportunity to view a SpaceX launch from the beach. The view was excellent under the moonlit sky. Our family of 9 stayed here and had a wonderful time. The pool and back yard was so relaxing. We had everything we needed while we were there, would definitely stay again. Our host was clear and communicative too. A++

Our family of seven (2 parents and 5 kids) ages 8-18 all had a great time at this home. Plenty of space for everyone inside and outside.

This was the perfect house for our family. Many bedrooms and a fantastic backyard with pool, hot tub and fire pit. Weather was sunny and 80 all week so we spent lots of time at the pool and at the beach/ocean which was a short walk away. Everything was well maintained and owner was easily accessible for questions. All appliances seemed new and worked well for all of our cooking and laundry. Quiet neighborhood was nice for riding bikes that we rented. Overall a fantastic week and experience at this VRBO rental!

We have stayed at several homes that we found on VRBO, sometimes the homes do not quite live up to our expectations based on the photos and description. This wonderful home exceeded our expectations, the kitchen is large and well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes and glass wear. The house was very clean, and all of the beds seemed to be very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, but if you take a short walk, just a few blocks, you reach A1A where there is a nice crosswalk that allows you to cross the road safely . Once you cross , there is a beautiful sandy beach . While we were there the beach was pretty quiet which was great!! Back at the house is the swimming pool…. Awesome! The pool was very clean, pretty big and there is lots of privacy. We opted to have the pool heated instead of the hot tub, and in my opinion, it was well worth the small up charge. The only problem we had is that we only stayed for one week, next year we will try and book it for two weeks! Thank you Nick and Nicole

Super location, easy walk to beach AND intracoastal - so great views for sunrise and sunset. Kids LOVED the spa and then jumping in the pool. Lots of space for 3 generations.

Great house with plenty of room for the 9 of us. David and Patti were responsive, helpful, and friendly. Kids loved the pool and beach. Fantastic location: short walk to the beach or Redfrog and McToads or the awesome Paladar Cuban Eatery & Bakery. And a short drive to St. Augustine for supplies, history, and shopping. I did not want to leave.

We had a great time in this 3 story house. It's really nice and clean with plenty of space! And the host was very responsive. Overall it was a great choice.

Our family celebrates Christmas on New Years Eve. The property gave us plenty of room to spread out. Access to the beach was within walking distance. We had a wonderful time.

Literally anything you'd want from a vacation rental. A beautiful clean home and a quiet neighborhood. We would have loved to stay longer just to enjoy the house more. We'd love to come back if the opportunity comes.

The house was beautiful! Great location. David was the best. I would definitely recommend the house and I hope to stay there again. The pool, hot tub and patio was absolutely amazing! Everything was clean and very neat. We had a short walk to the beach and was conveniently located to all shopping and restaurants. It was definitely one of our best trips!

This home is very clean, spacious and location is perfect. The backyard is a paradise. Pool, spa, grill, firepit. The area is very quiet and peaceful. I can't say anything negative about this location. The management team was amazing.

Unfortunately we had the worst experience. The place is dirty and not well maintained. Roaches everywhere and they were huge. Hot tub is broken and full of mildew. Dishwasher was also broken and when we notified the owner his response was to send to a sponge and dish soap. Ironing board is provided but not the iron machine. The outside fire pit was full of garbage and water, we had to clean it to be able to use it. The pool is freezing cold and dirty, mildew smell is pretty strong. On checkout day the cleaning crew came at 9:15 and started rushing us to leave the house (checkout is at 10) . Overall was a bad experience and we will never come back.

The property (New Lighthouse) was overall a good fit for our 14 people family stay including the children. Upon arrival getting in was exactly as communicated and close to the beach as it was roughly 8 minute walk. What we loved was there was a crossing for pedestrians to cross main road and utilizing caution light button so that we were safe crossing road. We loved the amount of rooms and beds as it was very accommodating for our family. We loved the pool as it was very utilized during hottest part of the day that we were not at beach. Although the pool was very dirty when we arrived and we had to clean it ourselves as we checked in on a Wednesday and pool cleaner did not arrive until Friday which was his weekly schedule. The spa was very utilized by the adults but we didnt like that we paid a heating charge for the spa and it was only set at 81 degrees but that is communicated in the contract. I wish i would have caught that and would have opted out on the heating of the pool / spa. I loved that i was able to communicate with the property owner and he was very quick to respond. We loved that the kitchen had everything we needed such as cook ware and appliances as we grocery shopped and cooked daily during our stay. Everything worked except the ice maker on the fridge as we used jugs to put ice water in to take to the beach with us and we had to buy ice due the ice maker not working and the owner may not know that and i wished i had communicated that. The community is very quiet and relaxing as we enjoyed walks around the community as well. Overall we were satisfied with our stay and we will definitely consider staying at this property again in the future. Thank you!

Thank you David and Patti for being such great hosts! The size and location of your home was perfect for our large party of 14 to enjoy while we were in town for our Easter wedding on the beach. The kids enjoyed the pool and we spent a lot of time gathered in the kitchen area. Rooms are nice and large. Beautiful neighborhood! Short walk to the beach and extra parking at the park is very convenient. Thank you for everything! Hopefully we will see you again next year😁

I could write a book. But the site won’t let me write a long one. I’ll sum it up. Sand in my sheets. You can’t control the AC, the owner does from his house. Wi-Fi didn’t work which the tv runs off off. So there was no TV. Upstairs balcony in master is dangerous and you could fall eight through it. They were rotted and the boards that were decent you could lift up with your hand as they were not fastened. Mold on and in the spa. Pool was filthy. Trash and cigarette butts all in the back yard. Grill waste basket filled to the top from other guests. Security fence for the pool was broken and fell which was a major for us because we had little ones with us. Washer sounded like a freight train, we had to wash our towels that were used per their rule…so we turned it off. I contacted the owner via email after my trip that was spent over 1k for just two nights. He has yet to contact me to resolve any issues or compensation. Very sad as this property has great potential. Clearly they do not care about the cleanliness or safety for their guests. Find another place to stay.

This was a very roomy, spacious house, and can fit plenty of family/friends! Three floors, which allows groups to spread out and occupy multiple rooms at once! Very comfy!
