Great little get away perfect spot in the lake

A very beautiful house, and it is a lovely place. I found everything I needed in the house—it has absolutely everything.

Very good location. Loved the dock

This was my third time staying here. Our first stay was in Oct. 2017, second, May 2021, and third July 2025. Love this lake and love the location of the property. This property reminded my husband and I of a cottage his family owned on Indian lake in Ohio. But in the 8 years, the only improvement was the outdoor deck furniture, which was a great improvement. The other improvement was they now have trash pickup, you no longer have to take your trash to a pickup location. Their property description is not up to date. It is NOT professionally decorated, and the appliances are NOT new. The oven works but takes longer to cook. By trial and error you have to find the settings that work on the washer and dryer. The shower door in the bathroom off the sunroom has been disconnected at the top since our first stay. I know good help is hard to find, but they need to find a new cleaning crew. Upon arrival, debris on floors and area rugs. While sitting on couch, cushions sunk in, my husband pulled it up to adjust it and what a smorgasbord for mice and bugs. Original bedroom (front of cottage) had not been cleaned for quite sometime had dust and mouse poop everywhere. The host had asked for good reviews and if there were any issues to please consult her before leaving a bad review. I messaged her and got no response. The uncleanliness this last trip is unacceptable especially since cleaning fees are added into the rental of the property.
