We were so happy we chose this location. Beautiful, enchanting property, room/bed was very comfy. Well equiped for a studio kitchen. The hosts are charming and helpful. You will not be disappointed.

Welcome stay after our train ride, the bed was really comfortable . Perfect for short stays. The bathroom sink is also the kitchen sink. Not a problem for us we didn’t do any cooking. Microwave was perfect for our needs.

The suite had everything we needed for a comfortable, relatively quick, stay in Chama to take the Chama to Antonito train. It was colorful and cozy, as described. Wr also enjoyed the beautiful fall colors.

This is a beautiful and cozy place to stay. The room has everything you need to spend a couple of days. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Suhana is a sweet and warm host. She provided us with a homemade Canellovi,salad, and delicious bread for dinner. This place is highly recommend.

The Flickering Flame Inn has amenities that can not be found at a more urban setting. The owners make a camp fire in the back of the inn for the guest to sit around and enjoy. There is also a walking path along a wild stream very close to the inn.
The first night we were there the hostess ( who is a great cook) made us a wonderful home cooked meal.

We enjoyed our stay in the studio. There was a large noisy crowd our first night but the hosts did their best to deal with them. The bed was comfy and we appreciated the host’s advice about places to eat.

The property setting is quiet and restful, and the location was perfect for exploring the Chama and Brazos River valleys. My wife and I spent 3 nights at the property, and we would definitely stay here again.

From contact immediately after booking, to reaching out to inform us of internet issues throughout town(so were prepared on arrival) we could have not asked for more. Then we arrive to cabin, with a later than normal check in, and entry was effortless. The room exceeded expectations in every catagory. Definitely two thumbs up!

The Property is beautiful ... the primary home is lovely and the unit we stayed in was very comfy and homey. No kitchen sink so you clean dishes et al in the bathroom, but it was hardly an issue.

Lovely Lodge
We stayed in a queen studio which had a large bathroom and several kitchen supplies. Although we didn’t cook, all the supplies, including an outdoor grill, were available. The homey feeling and peaceful setting was a nice change from a motel! A short drive to the Toltec train was a bonus.

Had an excellent experience at the flickering flame great place to just relax feels just like home the people are really down to earth and friendly the rooms are beautiful they've done an awesome job on how they've decorated them

Delightfully quiet room, very clean, and neat property located in a pretty area of Chama next to Chamita Creek. Nice owners. Hot tub clean. Orbitz and Vbro gave no means to contact the owners, so no opportunity to ask questions for clarification of available amenities.

The room was very nice and cozy. Lots of nice features like the ability to cook small things in the room which worked out good for us since alot of the restaurants were close for the winter season or closed early. Right down the street from downtown and on a dead end street so no traffic> we are going back in June and will definitly stay here again.

The room was very clean and had everything stated in the listing. The staff addressed any concerns promptly and satisfactorily. It had very little room to put a suitcase or two.
