Loved the home! Bests were very comfortable, plenty of room, close to restaurants, very clean, and the pool was partially heated during our time there (must have been from previous renters) and it felt amazing! Only downside was all the stairs. The first floor is two bedrooms with the wash/dryer but the stair layout is weird so it was a ton of stairs just to walk into the home to the living room. Wonderful stay though!

Overall it was a good vacation. I am just a bit annoyed that I had to pre-pay $380 to have the pool heated and did not receive a refund. It was only heated for 1 day, since a cold front came in and temps were below 55 for the rest of our time there. I don't understand why we wouldn't get refunded if the pool heater wasn't on for the durration of our trip. One other complaint is that the floors and stairs were extremely creeky and you couldn't go down the stairs without waking the whole house up. Shower drains were slow to drain. We did like the home setup and liked that there was 2 refrigerators and an ice machine.

Staff was friendly, professional, and responsive throughout the entire time from booking to checkin. Even got texts while at the house to make sure everything was going ok. The beach was an easy walk from the house. Adults could walk to bars. The kids could walk to ice cream. The large table and open living space to include the porch was a great space for all 19 of us to be together for meals. Private bath with each room was very nice for our multi family group.

Overall a good experience! We needed a large house, bath with each bedroom, and house fit that bill perfectly! Great location! Beach was an easy walk. Restaurants and grocery close by. Enjoyed our visits to Charleston and Mount Pleasant. So many things to do in this area. There were a couple issues - Elevator wasn't working when we arrived and that was a big factor in selecting this home with 3 stories; someone should check before each visit; rental ofc was responsive and got the problem fixed on day 2. In a house this large, at this price, with room for several people, it would be better to have a few more basic supplies at house - towels, dish detergent, dish cloths, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc; and that could be fixed easily. Recycle bins were full when we got there, and we figured out the pick-up schedule, but a few more instructions on that process would be helpful. Other than elevator, I'd say that was minor stuff, easily fixed. We loved being able to stay together in one house, and I would consider renting through Island Realty again. It was a definite plus to have the rental management office close. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and responsive to our needs and questions.

We had seven couples in the house, the common rooms were very spacious, there was a seperate bar space and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool was a good size and was well used that weekend. The house a block from both the beach and the hub of Isle of Palms. It was perfect!

Love this property. We have stayed here before and the location is wonderful, house layout is perfect for our large family gathering, and the rental company was very easy to work with. Only negative comment I would make is that there used to be two single beds in one of the downstairs bedrooms that they replaced with a very uncomfortable pull out sleep sofa. We literally used 5 comforters to put on top of the mattress so children could sleep on it. I would HIGHLY recommend replacing or putting beds back in the room. Otherwise, another amazing Isle of Palms trip!

We have been vacationing in IOP for almost 50yrs. The house was perfect for our family; great room/bathroom combos and no bunkbeads. We actually stayed in this house about 7 years ago and it has been updated since then which was nice.

We had a great trip (18 total ppl - 8 adults and 10 kids). The house is as described. There is a door in the fence that makes the beach walk just a couple minutes. The trees in the yard make the pool a little dirty and the house needs more forks (we ran out every meal) but those are small things. Overall, the house was great.

We really enjoyed this property- super close and easy access to the beach and restaurants, great pool- kitchen and living room and outside seating were perfect for our large group gatherings. Management office was a pleasure to work with and super helpful. No problems at all - all of us really loved this house!

Everything was very clean and our group of 14 felt like we had enough space. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a game changer! It would’ve been nice to have more than one bath towel/washcloth per guest since we were there for 4 days, and beach/pool towels would’ve been helpful. Instead we had to go buy pool towels to use the included pool. I would definitely stay here again, it was beautiful and convenient.

The property was spacious and clean and accommodated multiple families with bedrooms and living space. Was convenient to the grocery store some local shopping and dining as well steps to the beach. The only down fall was that it was directly across the street from the post office and the bedrooms in the front of the house heard all the truck activity and loading activity in the early morning hours. Overall would recommend and enjoyed despite.

Was a great trip. Everyone really enjoyed it and loved having TV in every bedroom. Each bedroom had its own bath is why we chose this house. There were a few things that needed attention that would be missed if not noted.

The house was reserved for our wedding party. We were all able to stay in the same place and all have our own bathroom for each bedroom. We had more than enough space for everyone to spread out and get comfortable. Unfortunately due to the hurricane we were not able to use the pool since the weather was bad and got chilly after but the outside area was nice.

This property was incredible. I had a group of 21 that fit perfectly in this 8 bedroom 8 bathroom home. The walk to the beach is about 50 feet and the house is right next to the Windjammer which is a super fun beach bar on IOP. I can't recommend this property enough! Additionally, if you rent beach chairs through IOP chair rental you cant get a beach spot reserved right next to the sandvolleyball nets. Perfect for my doctoral class which is comprised of former athletes!

We held a crew of ladies at this house for my sister’s bachelorette party and it’s everything we could have dreamed and more! Being able to walk out the back gate to the beach, restaurants and shops was super convenient. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious and the fact that every room has an en suite bathroom was great.
Plus can’t beat having a pool! The check in and out process was easy. Short Uber or rental car drive to Charleston too! 10/10 recommend and hope to get back someday! Thank you for an amazing stay!

We had a large family get together at this house and it was amazing. Adults and kids totalled 17 and everyone had their own space to feel "at home" it felt...with some great space for group dinners inside or out. The pool was a nice touch to use at the house for those that didn't want to go to the beach every day...but they are so close, you can do both if you want!

Very nice lodging
The home is beautiful and was large enough to accommodate all 16 of us comfortably. We noticed a few flaws in some of the appliances, but otherwise everything was perfect.

Wedding week vacation
My fiancé and our families came to spend an entire week together before our wedding! The house was gorgeous! The location was absolutely perfect! The pool was simply amazing! It was enough room for all of us! We LOVED that each room had its own bathroom! It was simply a dream house! There were a few maintenance issues that were there before we got there and it seemed whomever was there before us had an engagement party as well they had left pool floaties in the pool, which was not a big deal at all. We would definitely rent this house again in the future!!! So close to the beach snd driving and walking distance to anything we needed! Highly recommend this VRBO home!

We just returned from an amazing week at the beach and stayed in this beautiful home. We have done this as a family for over 25 years and this trip was one of the best. As the grandchildren have grown we have had to add more rooms and this house is perfect for our larger size. There were dual dishwashers, multiple refrigerators/wine cooler, plenty of beds and each room had a private bath. The spa in the master suite was nice to relax and getaway. The home was convenient to the shops and easy access to the ocean. The pool was a nice gathering place and we served dinner from the outdoor patio and grill. The home was very clean when we arrived. The furnishings made us feel like we were home. They were all of good quality and the home was decorated with taste. This is a nice location for a large family or friend vacation. We were pleased with Island realty for assisting us during our rental process and look foward to repeating this trip next year.
