Our goal was to visit for a few days and enjoy snow at Dodge Ridge (ski/snowboard) and sledding (Pinecrest Lake). Lucky enough, we arrived during an epic snowstorm. It was magical (and the last few miles there took for-ever...but worth it!). Twain Harte has a grocery store with everything you need nearby. Snow shoveled our way to the house. Turned on the pellet stove and cooked up a meal while the kids enjoyed the snow outside. When you enter the one floor home there's a big room with large wrap around sofa, tv, pellet stove, and kitchen area. Very welcoming. There's a big deck out the back that was covered in snow. Must be lovely in the summertime. 3 bedrooms are off to the side. The kids loved the twin bedroom with old Nintendo and board games. Spices, tea & coffee in the kitchen. Everything was neat and clean. Oh and a few taxidermied pals on the mantel. Our Dodge Ridge and Pinecrest experiences were snow filled too. Driving took heaps longer because of the weather but we took everything in stride. It was a winter wonderland. Jordan was a great host answering our questions promptly and giving us suggestions. If you like burgers, brews, and sweet potato garlic fries, the Rock is your place in nearby Twain Harte. If anything was negative, it was because we didn't want to leave. Thanks for everything, Jordan. We hope to return soon.

My family and I had a wonderful time here! The home is cozy, well appointed, and exactly what we were expecting from the listing. We'd also like to give a shout out to our host, who was prompt to reply to our questions and gave us great advice on planning our activities!

Great cabin! Very clean, well equipped and cozy.

This property was bright and clean and the kitchen had all the essentials. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunrise and played many games at the table while we cooked. This property was exactly what was advertised. Beautiful location. We will definitely return!

As always we enjoyed staying at this beautiful cabin. It was spotless and it had what we needed. It is our 4th time staying at this cabin and so far it’s one of our favorite cabins to stay. The new Ac unit was a plus, as we had to leave a night early during one of our stays because of excessive heat. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful cabin with us. 😊

We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful setting. The single story and level entry worked perfectly for us since my 92 year old father stayed with us. We would love to visit in another season since we were here during a heat wave and there was no air conditioning. The owner provided many fans and good suggestions on keeping the house as comfortable as possible which was very helpful. Overall we had a great time and look forward to possibly another visit durning cooler weather.

Very cleaned & spacious. Great mountain view. Great communion with owner. The only downside was that it didn’t have A/C and it was very hot inside, unable to sleep. Overall, it’s a great cabin, we really enjoyed it. I felt like I was at home. Very quiet & peaceful. Great view to see the sky, stars and a lot of Shooting stars. Overall, I was very satisfied this this cabin.

Spacious, clean, with many amenities, and in a great neighborhood. What more could you ask?!
