The power went out in the while building at 10pm on a very hot night, there was no answer or anyone at the reception desk. We opened the windows for cooling but the bar noise was pretty loud, fortunately to he power came back on about 11pm so we could close to he windows and use the AC. Breakfast was very nice, great coffee, juice, eggs, and the usual.

It is clean, big room with high ceiling, close to the center town and lake. Spacious bathroom, wide bed.

When I'm writing this review I see that a lot of people complained about the lack of amenities in the bathroom (no soap or shampoo)- same experience for me- should have read the reviews first :). It is annoying indeed. Another issue is that check-in and breakfast are in another location: Jokai Villa- 6 minutes walk. Breakfast is poor. Check in procedure- slow- there was a young student who had difficulties reading the date of birth from the ID...long queue formed. Also the terrace was nice but not cleaned-lots of spider webs. Not a bad place but with some extra effort becomes recommended.

Villa Campana was a wonderful stay and I would have liked to stay here much longer. Our little dog loved the garden (which is completely fenced) where he can run around an play as much as he liked (we had no other guests most of the time we stayed here). We loved it since there is plenty of tables and chairs so that we could work from our computer outside, and when the sun moved and the front got cold, we moved to our own patio and could enjoy the sun for a few more hours. When we collected the keys, the lady told us that we are the only guests that night and that the breakfast normally would be served at the location where the you collect the keys, but instead she told us that we can go to her bakery and pick anything we want for breakfast. And what a breakfast. The last day we stayed, we had breakfast at the normal location, it was good too, but I wished we could have breakfast at the bakery every day. The coffee at both locations are very very good. The room was very nicely decorated, especially the bathtub. It looked very luxurious. We would definitely stay here again.

The WIFI did not work during our stay, I called the lady to tell her about it and she told me that the called the service provider earlier that morning and that they were investigating. She also told us that we are welcome to come use the WIFI at the other location if we wanted. The WIFI still did not work when we checked out. I would have liked to use the sauna, but it seemed like both the one located in the house and the one outside was undergoing some work.

I booked a night at Villa Campana and I was booked at another villa owned by the host ( Jokai Villa) without receiving any notice of this. I had instructions to get the keys for Villa Campana at the reception of Villa Jokai. After making 2 trips between the villas, i had a big surprise to find out the keys didn’t match, they match the omonime room at Villa Jokai. Although the resort was empty and only us as guests, they asked 7 euro to park the car in the garden. Breakfast was not included, although it was in my reservation.

there were no amenities, except for towel and toilet paper. No soap, no basic shampoo, nothing. The mini fridge in the room was too noisy so we had to unplug it. Reception wasn’t really working and unable to answer questions or help. The lady was not very welcoming and had to constantly leave her desk so we’re unable to communicate.

The villa is newly renovated and rooms clearly larger than most of hotel options. A big plus is also the large bathroom with bathtub. For a longer stay it's a perfect home replacement, as, being actually an old villa, the hosts did a nice job by preserving the living room as a common place decorated very cosy and with access to library. It comes also with access to patios, terraces and a garden. All in all, the place deserves a good rating and can be a very nice accommodation, if the hosts address also the negative aspects raised so far - hope the explanations will be taken only as constructive feedback.

1. No soap in the bathroom - I found it quite annoying, as it's a common sense aspect, not only in times of covid:) to firstly want to wash your hands and use the bathroom after a long trip - not to jump from one foot to another until you manage to bring your luggage, unpack and look for your personal toiletries to get smth to wash your hands with. I want to mention it because, other than thinking it was just something it was missed/ forgot, I noticed this in previous reviews as negative aspect and was disappointing to see lack of /low interest in addressing it for a better customer experience. 2.Also, the fact that the reception and breakfast are both on another location could be explained better and more briefly - the trip itself to that place is very short and pleasant to get a glimpse of the neighborhood, yet it can be very annoying too if you arrive very late and need extra time to untangle the steps to get in. Could be listed very simple in the mail in steps or to mention clearly in the first place to go to reception in place x where the key is and then go to Campana location.
