The house is so cute and homey. It does not feel like a rental at all. It feels more like a well cared for home. Very clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. I even baked a cake one night, and there was a cake pan with a cover for me to use. The beds were very comfortable, especially the queen. We had to use the blow up mattress for one of our kids, and it was comfortable too. The AC worked wonderfully. We have stayed in another home with the same floor plan, and the AC struggled to cool down the upstairs. Not here. We loved the porch.
Everything was labeled and easy to use or find. The location is fantastic-close to the beach and Shoals Club and Mikes Bites. The owner was very responsive. It was a great stay!

This place was perfect for my family. They had everything you need to make a great family beach trip. Kitchen was well stocked. Loved having two carts. Owners are awesome. Hope to come back for sure.

Great property, very dog and human friendly! Very clean, well equipped, super comfortable! We can’t say enough!!!! We loved the screen porches on both sides of the house. It was amazing to watch the deers walk right by on the wooden paths. The short walk to the beach was an added bonus!

Summer Jam is perfect! The house is well supplied, furnished and spotless. The setting in the forest and within easy walking distance to the beach is wonderful.
We were 4 adults and a dog and all had a wonderful week. We biked (3 cruiser bikes supplied), walked and carted (2 electric golf carts supplied) over the island. Don’t miss climbing Old Baldy, the Maritime Market for groceries and breakfast/lunch sandwiches, Jailhouse Provisions for lunch/dinner and especially Mike’s Bites for yummy sandwiches and Italian ices!
We loved BHI and Summer Jam was perfect for 4 people and a dog.

My husband and I had a wonderful getaway at Summer Jam!!! The property was very cozy and nestled in the maritime forest, while only being a short walk to the beach. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. :)

Our family has been going to BHI for many years now and this was hands down our favorite property on the island. A perfect location, extremely clean, comfortable beds, everything you need for the beach and to cook and really loved having two screen porches. The Summer Jam has everything you need to make your stay stress-free and relaxing. Our stay was absolutely perfect. The owners are extremely responsive and helpful in everyway to make our 2 week stay AMAZING! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and we are counting the days until our next stay.

A Terrific Rental
The house was perfect! The kitchen was stocked with spices and oils, and 2 grills for outdoor grilling. Plenty of beach towels, beach tents and chairs. A quick bike ride or golf cart ride to the beach. We look forward to our next stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

Great property, ok cleaning service
Overall great experience. Unit very nicely appointed. Great amenities (golf cart, bicycles, beach chairs, beach umbrella, gas grill). The overall cleanliness of unit was not what we expected or would have liked. Bathrooms and carpet, felt and smelled not sanitized.

Fantastic Maritime Forest Rental
We had an amazing stay at Summer Jam in late August. Having stayed at other similar properties on BHI, we can accurately say the details in this property are above and beyond what you will find in any other smaller property on the island. Lots of games for kids, musical equipment, comfortable furniture and beautiful updated kitchen. They provide both a gas and charcoal (Big Green Egg) grill and adult bikes for use. We had some unforeseen scheduling needs and the owner worked with us promptly to make sure everything worked out great. Really cannot say enough great things about this property and look forward to coming back. Thanks for everything.

Each light switch labeled. A book with step by step directions for everything! Every kitchen utensil you can imagine. Awesome new gas grill. Tons of towels, soft sheets, comfortable beds, sofa and outdoor furniture. So many extras I can’t even name them all! A jar of chocolate (that I had to eventually hide from my kids), a jar of hair ties just in case you forgot yours, large TV’s, games, and 2 great golf carts! When we arrived it was like heaven! We have been staying at BHI for many, many years and this is the best place we have ever stayed! So close to East Beach & The Shoals club. This is new to the rental market and you will not be disappointed! I can not say enough positive things about Summer Jam! Thank you for the best week!
