Perfect location, a short walk to the beach or town, although we found it easier to take a taxi in to town and walk back. Taxi is $2-$5 each way but you could walk everywhere if you wanted to. There are amazing local sodas (local mom and pop restaurants) all around that serve good traditional Costa Rican food. Also the tourist spots as well but their food isn’t as great. The community pool is perfect and also nice to have the cocktail pool in the backyard. There is a pair of Macaws that settle into a tree just to the left of the backyard pretty much every night between 5-6 pm too! Jaco is a great home base for visiting the volcanoes, hot springs, Manuel Antonio, waterfalls, and seeing wildlife.

Beautiful country -Beautiful weather - clean condo - sweet pool to hang out in - not enough toiletry and cleaning supplies- garbage bags- there is laundry wish we all were informed - over all we had a wonderful time and would go back again to this area in Costa Rica -

Seeing this house online just seemed too good to be true but it was everything it advertised and more! A true paradise! Having 2 levels with several outdoor sitting areas gave my family and I several options for being together or for having some privacy. The private pool was perfect and having access to the community pool and only being steps to the beach was ideal. The house was tranquil and the hosts were responsive. I strongly recommend this accommodation for travelers!

Our family of four stayed at Eddie and Silvia’s place for a week. The location was excellent - the community pool and beach just a block away, and the town close enough to walk but far enough that it was very quiet at night.
The home was spacious and comfortable and the hosts were extremely responsive to any questions we had. They even arranged for airport taxis to and from San Jose. I would definitely recommend staying here and would do so again in the future.

We have traveled a little bit. Really loved this house.... walking distance to all you need and McCaw's right outside the gate almost every morning. Iguanas and Hummingbirds too! The hosts were Amazing and responded quickly to questions. I highly recommend and would go back tomorrow if I could. Thank you Silvia and Eddie

Wonderful home in gated community. We found the house to be clean and well stocked: i.e., beach towels chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, etc. Comfortable and quite with the added bonus of full time security. On the edge of Jaco- so, away from the nightlife, but close enough for dinner or shopping. Silvia and Eddie were terrific!

Everything about this property was as advertised. The location is simply splendid with 24 hour security. Although there were some initial problems with the operation of the television, we realized that use of a television in this setting was completely unnecessary. If I was to return to Jayco I can think of no better place to stay than at this location.

Took a last minute family vacation, planned it in 8 weeks, this property was perfect for me and my husband and 4 boys. The little boys loved the lounge pool. This house had all the amenities we needed and the gated community is lovely, the walk to the beach is gorgeous. Communication with the owners was super easy as was the check in and check out. It was perfect for our first time to Costa Rica!

After a brief issue with a blown circuit breaker, our 10-day stay was excellent. Great location within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Eddie and Silvia were very responsive to any questions we had.
Would definitely recommend for a family get away.

The Best Stay Ever!
I can't thank Silvia and Eddie enough for such a wonderful visit to Jaco Beach, Costa Rica. The location is perfect and is in close proximity to everything. The house is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos on the VRBO listing. We enjoyed the community pool as well as the pool at the home. We celebrated my husbands birthday and Silvia recommended the perfect restaurant located right on the beach where we enjoyed fabulous food, a beautiful sunset and great service. We can't thank you enough for a wonderful vacation with memories made to last a lifetime.

Excellent accommodations and location
We had a great time staying at this property. There were 5 of us staying at the property and at no time did we feel cramped or crowded. Property is very nicely decorated and very comfortable. We felt very safe while we were there. It is in a very nice gated community and all of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The community pool was excellent. Lots of loungers and choices for sun or shade.
The plunge pool at our unit was also a very nice option for a quick cool down. Location was excellent. 5 minute walk to the beach. 20 minutes to the center of town. Overall our stay was excellent and we would recommend this place for a stay.

Just what we wanted
The house was beautiful and well equipped. The location was absolutely perfect in in a quiet area just across from the beach. We felt totally secure in this property with a guard station at the entrance and a guard at the beach gate in the evening. The community pool was lovely with a little waterfall, a covered sitting area and restrooms. The only thing missing was the community bbq grill mentioned in the listing.
Our only complaint was communication. We didn’t received directions to the house. Luckily Silvia answered her phone when we were driving around Jaco looking for the property and she directed us as we drove. Also at 0830 on checkout day, we were asked to leave as soon as possible because other guests wanted to arrive early. We were not happy about that as the check out time on our paperwork was 1100. Two small glitches that were not important in the end as we enjoyed the property very much.

This house is beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. The decor was very tasteful and felt very “Costa Rican”. Also, it was spotlessly clean both inside and out. The little private pool was real a treat with beautiful backyard lighting. Perfect! Our friendly hosts were very accommodating and answered all our concerns promptly. We also appreciate the beach towels, umbrella and chairs. Awesome touch. We will definitely stay there again.

Better than expected!
