The staff was very accomodating to help with laundry and keeping our bags after checkout. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was good.
We walked from the train station to the hotel and while it is not far, we had to pass through a little sketchy part.

Location, secure private parking
Lucia the receptionist. Avoid at all costs. Rude arrogant and downright nasty over a parking place in the garage. A shame because all other staff and receptionists were great. When I told her to be nice she tried to back track and be extra nice but for me the damage was done. When I asked her what her problem was she said she was “too busy”!!

Lovely to be able to have dinner on-site. Restaurant has lovely garden view.

Absolutely loved the receptionist. She made one feel seen and at home, and was helpful and efficient. She came wiith sound advice on how walk through town, seeing the sites, to get to the botanical garden.
I had almost given up on receiving proper service in Italy, but she made my day <3

Hotel preserves a nice vintage look.
Trains pass nearby and that is noisy at night.

The breakfast is very good. Staff and the owners are friendly and welcome. Internet connecion - perfect. :-) Great for one night.
Lack of free soap and shampoo, not only under the shower. Noisy area.
