Wunderschönes Haus in traumhafter Lage.

Sehr schlechte Küchenausstattung, defekte Eingangstür, defekte Duscharmatur, völlig verdreckte Auflagen für die Liegen und einige kleinere Mängel. Kein deutsches Fernsehen. Katastrophale Zufahrtsstraßen. Eingangsbereich schlecht begehbar da Hecken nicht geschnitten. In der ganzen Anlage gibt es keine Handläufe (Lebensgefahr). Kein Gepäckwagen. Dazu gehört ein Hotel, indem es fast gar nichts zu essen gab außer TK und Eier. Auf der anderen Straßenseite Riesenbaustelle mit starker Lärmbelästigung

The property itself is beautiful and located in a peaceful area. The rooms were clean and overall the hotel has a lot of potential. The pool and the overall atmosphere make it a nice place to relax.

Unfortunately, the service did not live up to the expectations that come with a hotel positioning itself as a luxury property, especially considering the price. The staff seemed very understaffed and overworked, which was noticeable in the service and particularly in the long waiting times at the restaurant. The breakfast was also disappointing. There was no buffet, the portions were small, and the choice was quite limited. The rooms, while clean and nicely designed, were equipped with only the basics. Essentials such as a kettle or coffee machine were missing. We also asked for some bowls to eat leftovers we had brought with us, but this was not allowed. Another important point is that you definitely need a car to stay here. The property is quite remote, and the roads leading there are partly very rough, so we would strongly recommend having a higher car or SUV. There is also not much infrastructure nearby, which makes having a car more or less essential. We also found some of the pool rules quite restrictive. For example, guests are not allowed to bring their own drinks to the pool, not even water, while at the same time it can take quite a while to get service there. Overall, we feel that if the hotel were priced more modestly, our expectations would probably have been different. However, when a property presents itself as a luxury hotel and charges a corresponding price, we expect at least a certain level of service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not fully match the price or the luxury positioning.
