The hosts and locals around the property were very friendly and always greeted us whenever we walked by.

The location was quite far out and road leading up full of potholes etc. Good 10-15 minutes by bike to get into Ubud town. Villa didn’t feel that private, was very open and felt like people could just walk in. Construction noises very early every morning. Lots of big red ants everywhere on the patio and around the pool, pool also looked quite grubby so we didn’t go in. Not really the fault of the villa but we also had a snake in the bathroom one night but one of the locals did help.

Bird droppings on the bed. Patched up hole in bath tub. Only 4 kitchen chairs to sit on inside. Only 2 outdoor chairs. No where for a group to sit comfortably. Green slime around pool. Many large steps to enter property. Bike or car needed to access shops and restaurants. Arrived and stayed for only 30min, rebooked in town. Despite even the bird droppings on the bed any refund was refused. Needed to take photos of things to get our refund, we didn't so no refund. Also we have stayed in alot of lesser starred places and always been happy, we have never left a booking .. we were just really disappointed in it.

Amazing peaceful place , very close to the center of Ubud. The villa is wonderful! Can't say anything bad about this place
