A fantastic Villa located a very short walk from a stunning beach. The owners are onsite and very helpful and we spent nearly the whole week at the Villa or on the beach. No need to go anywhere else. If you are looking to detach from the world, switch off and chill this is definitely the place to go. Some great little restaurants in nearby towns .. loved it

the location was amazing, super quiet and a 2 minute walk to a beautiful quiet shallow beach. the pool and area was perfect and the balcony area lovely for taking in the sea views. The owners and their family are super lovely and we would not hesitate to return here for another holiday. it was the most relaxed we’ve been for a long long time

There isn’t anything to not like! however my only observations on improving its comfort would be that it would definitely benefit from air conditioning (it looked like it did have it at one time, but has been removed). a sofa would’ve been nice inside (kids would relax there in the evening with a book or their games whilst adults have a drink outside?) there is plenty of room and the table inside wasn’t ever really used as the outside one was so lovely to eat at whilst taking in the views and a gently breeze. Oh and bear in mind there is no oven. We managed with the hob and microwave. So we went out for pizza!!! plus as it’s self catering…. do remember to take or buy toilet rolls!!!!

Our family of 4 (two adults, two children) stayed a week at Villa Mula in June 2022. In total, our stay was a pleasurable one. Location: The house is very nicely located in a residential and quiet area. The next beach is just some minutes away by foot, and is ideal for small children as it is very shallow and has nice sand for the kids to play with. There are not much tourist offerings around (which we loved, it was a quiet neighbourhood!), we drove for shopping and restaurants to the nearest city Orosei, approx 15 min away. Apartment: Overall, the house is very nice, with the highlights being a very large terrace (in the apartments on the top floor), or a beautiful green garden (ground level apartments). Another BIG plus was the great pool. Although Sardinia is full of beautiful beaches, our kids just loved it to go to the pool quickly and return easily to the room, without having everything full of sand everytime! The rooms were clean, beds were ok as well. Communication: good. We aligned our arrival time via WhatsApp with the owner, and were greeted nicely upon arrival. Key handover was smooth. There basically is just one negative thing: we were aware that the rooms did not have AC as described on booking.com (although when booking, to be honest, we had not even noticed this and were under the expectation that in a hot place like Sardinia this is standard..), but were surprised not to even find ventilators of any sorts in the rooms. With constant temperatures over 30C outside the room heated up immediately. We had read in comments from the last years that the owners are planning to upgrade ACs to the rooms, and indeed I do think this would upgrade Villa Mula to a completely different level of comfort.
