Pros: The pool was the star of the show, my children spent most of their time in it. The whole house was clean and the facilities were great. It’s close to central Tias and several bus stops nearby. Jorge was an excellent host. He is helpful and kind and made us feel at home. We’ve already booked to stay again next year as we loved it.
Cons: No negatives

Tias is a lovely place to stay and we had a very relaxing holiday. We also hired a car for the duration of the break and Tias was a good central point for driving to other places of interest on the island.

The house is as the photos show and is surrounded by other private homes, not other holiday lets. Be prepared to be overlooked and for the neighbours not to be on holiday and going about their everyday lives. The property to the rear is clearly used for a building or construction business and there was some noise but only twice. There is no parking except on the street but we always managed to get a space. There are no instruction manuals for any appliances except the air con so be prepared to Google. No spare linens or towels are left, hence the tumble dryer. Our only negative was there is no separate brush and mop for the outdoor areas so we could not keep them as clean as we would have liked. Also tea towels are provided but no cloths or cleaning product except washing up liquid and a few dishwasher tablets. The terrace to the side is shaded all day and the sun is on the pool from 10am to 4pm (we stayed late November). The bed in the room we chose was very comfortable and the property was clean on arrival. We would stay again
