I needed a day rest and sleep, choose the hotel by chance. And i stayed one day longer, because it was really very very clean and nice. The staff welcomed me so friendly and helped me out with my post and clothes. i want to thank you everyone there for their Breakfast was also very good. I would like to thank the staff again for the very friendly welcome and the help.

We have just returned from an 8 nights stay at Payava, we were so impressed by the hotel it’s staff and facilities. Nothing was too much trouble and all areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean. We are already planning to return next year.

sehr gute Lage, sehr sauber, schönes Boutique Hotel. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und immer hilfsbereite Personal.

Das Hotel ist 15 Min zu Fuß von der Innenstadt von Kalkar entfernt. Das Hotel liegt oben am Hang an einer Straße die auch Zugangsstrasse für den hinteren Wohnbereich des Ortes ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist perfekt. Die Atmosphäre und Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll und modern eingerichtet. Das Personal ist stets zur Stelle um zu helfen und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Parkplätze hinter dem Haus stehen zur Verfügung, sogar ein Parkplatz zum tanken von E-Fahrzeugen ist vorhanden.
Die Klimaanlage im Raum ist sehr laut (auch bei leisester Stufe) und bläst einen an. Mit offener Balkontür schlafen war leider nicht möglich, weil die Restaurants auf der anderen Straßenseite noch lange ihre Musik gespielt hatten und weil doch etlicher Verkehr vor dem Hotel, unmittelbar vorm Zimmer vorbei fährt.

Bedroom sheet was quite rough, not very comfortable. Location was fine for us, as we are active but was c.20 min walk up a steep hill from the main town. (100-150 lira taxi).

New hotel, sparkling clean, very comfortable to stay. Beautiful design. Good staff.
A bit far from the sea and city Center. Need to have a car. Kitchen was low quality, food was not eatable and burned. Breakfast was limited. Music until night from the closest restaurants.

The door to the bathroom kinda doesn’t close because it opens both ways😅 so it bothered a little, but could live with that.

The little touches at the Payava Hotel made our experience truly special. The pool area was often quiet and relaxing, and nobody reserved sunbeds with towels in the morning which was great! Staff were also very friendly and helpful. The room was huge and bathroom a luxury, they provided slippers and very nice toiletteries.
The food took a while to arrive for lunch, but apart from that everything was perfect!

Perfect location if you have a car as it is a short drive away from the city center, 10 min drive to Kaputas and 20 min to Patara.
Excellent breakfast with good variety and both local and international tastes.
Comfortable and spacious bedroom and bathroom.
Top bed sheet is a little strange for Western standards as it is a bit thick and rough. This seems to be the norm in the Aegean region as we’ve had the same across several hotels along the coast.

It’s quite a hill up to the hotel from the town, but this wasn’t an issue for us.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff and lovely sea views. It is an easy walk into the town from this location with some lovely restaurants close by to the hotel as well.

The hotel is very stylish. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The pool is nice and warm. And the location is quite comfortable.
Dirty((( The room wasn’t clean - there was a lot of dust on surfaces and lamps. The bed sheets were not fresh, we even found a blood stain on the blanket. At breakfast all the plates were oily(( That was disappointing enough not to choose this place again.
