Beautiful estate tucked away in the Friesland countryside. Sandra and Stephan are friendly welcoming hosts and the place has a lovely communal feel. Breakfast is taken around a long communal table and includes fruit from the garden, eggs from the resident chickens, local cheeses, and homemade jams.
We stayed in the main house with the shared kitchen which was very well equipped, clean and spacious.
The room was simple but very comfortable with a nice modern bathroom.
The biggest selling point is the location, the peace and quiet, and the amazing night sky in this “dark sky park” area.
No complaints whatsoever. :)
A charging station for the electric car would have made it even more perfect - but there are plenty in the general area so it wasn’t a problem.

"Love from the first sight! Absolutely gorgeous place. There is a soul invested in that place. In such places you want to stop, relax and deeply breathe in and out.
