We stayed at "Air" for two nights during the holiday season as a quick relaxing getaway. The location was perfect - close to the ferry and to Jules restaurant. Many eateries were closed for the season, but there were enough places open for our short stay. The island was quiet and the beach was nearly deserted, which was exactly what we hoped. "Air" was clean and comfy - had a small kitchenette with a coffee maker, toaster, fridge to be able to eat a quick bite in the morning before heading out. The space is small but very well-used and laid out. We will definitely be back to Bald Head for a longer stay! Air was a great choice for our needs.

The size and location was as expected. Just right for 2 people who don’t want to cook dinners.
A little disappointing as we got there and wanted to open a bottle of wine and there wasn’t a wine opener. Some of the lights needed new light bulbs and the towels/bath mat could use refreshing. Literally there wasn’t light in the bathroom.
Loved the view over looking the harbor and being downtown. I will say the golf cart was the bomb and had great zip.
Enjoyed the stay overall.

We have vacationed on BHI for 20+ years and this was a perfect spot! We had thoughts the marina may be "too noisy", but we found it just as peaceful as other locations on the island. The space was clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by what was provided. We actually walked in and thought someone was still staying there - there were 2 beach chairs and a Shibumi Shade in the foyer that are provided with the house. The kitchenette was nicely stocked. If you are like us and like to keep the sand off the floor, there is even a small vacuum under the bed and a broom in the foyer! The golf cart is well maintained. The only thing I would do differently is have the TV (which we never used) not block the marina view windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I just got married in the beginning of June! We are moving and starting new jobs but still wanted to get away for a little. BHI and the Air cottage were perfect for our “mini” honeymoon! It is located right by the marina- we walked right over from the ferry even though I’m sure a tram will drop you off, we didn’t need too, it’s that close! We walked to lunch at Jules and to Old Baldy! Truly the perfect location. We were close to everything. They even had a shibumi and beach chair for us! The golf cart was also amazing and ran perfectly. We can’t thank you enough! The cottage itself was the perfect size and so quaint. We highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Close to the ferry and central to most of the main food options on the island. The fact the golf cart is included too is a great touch and makes getting around very easy. Highly recommend!

Very clean, well stocked, great location, and lovely views! The room is spacious and very pretty and the location is great - close to restaurants and ferry. Adam was a helpful host and very responsive to questions. We plan to book it again!

We had a such a great stay! The house is the perfect size for a short getaway and was equipped with everything we needed (plus a super comfortable bed!). So conveniently located as well - we just walked 5 minutes from the ferry so no need for a tram drop-off. The marina was surprisingly quiet and peaceful (though for the record we did come in the off-season).
Adam was extremely helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

A cute and compact space; it had all the requirements. Having a golf cart there made getting around super easy. Everything worked as Adam indicated. Great dining at Jules my first night. Beautiful sunset.

Everything was perfect!! The room was perfect for my husband and myself. Just the right size. Well equipped for what we needed. I thought staying on the marina would be noisy but it was so quiet and peaceful. The views were beautiful. Loved sitting on the deck in the morning watching the fish jumping and all the boats and yachts. The golf cart being included was a great plus for us. We were able to navigate throughout the island to the many beaches and shops. We will definitely stay here again in the future!! Thank you Adam 😊

Great Location, Comfortable Cottage
My wife and I stayed in the "Air" for a week and enjoyed the location, the size, the views, the golf cart, and amenities. The marina is right around the corner as are some fun and tasty restaurants. There're many beach access locations either walkable or by golf cart and the Market & Shops are a short golf cart ride away. We'd stay here again.

Small room but everything you need, great location
Wonderful view of harbor. Room is small, but nothing was lacking. Well stocked kitchen with fridge, 5 cup coffee maker, hotplate, toaster. Premises were clean and up to date. Ten minute walk to ferry, and to the east beach. Having the electric club car was great, but follow the charging instructions exactly to prevent getting stranded. For cooler and windy days, pick the E, S or W beaches so you have an offshore wind, makes it much nicer. But on hot days you may want the onshore wind. The lighthouse and chapel nearby are must-sees. Grocery and meal prices run higher due to being on an island. Get to the ferry early during busy days as they only take 150 people! Our host was very available via message and phone. This is a 5 star place!
