After leaving the SC shorelines and 4th of July festivities, I decided (last minute) that I actually needed some seclusion in the woods before I returned home to my daily responsibilities.I cannot express how happy I was to find this cabin was available and located almost half way on my return route.The drive to the cabin down a winding gravel road and then turning onto a drive between field and woods, I was already feeling calmer. Even before I turned into the cabin, I saw a lovely porch swing hanging on an amazing tree. The cabin is (in my opinion) better than the photos. The seclusion and tree canopy was amazing and just what I needed. I found the interior cabin to be clean and cooled from outside humidity. Note that this is natural log in woods, so interior can feel dark, but lights and windows help illuminate and makes for a cozy stay.Because this is a wooded parcel, you will find outside spider webs and forest dirt. I took the hose to the back porch to knock them down and make my stay comfortable for me.I would highly recommend if you are looking to decompress. I hope to be back, but without a need to remotely sign into work.Owners were fantastic and I am very jealous of their rare find. Seclusion, quiet, calm and yet close to food, drink, hiking.Lovely stay that helped me center myself before returning to my normal days.

Excellent quaint and rustic property in the middle of wine country. Stayed here for a nearby wedding and couldn’t have been better.

Such a cute place! Private, quiet cabin perfect for getting away from the busyness of life! Plenty of space and hate we didn't have time to enjoy the firepit!

Cons: First of all, front porch where you step up is not safe. There are rotting and broken boards that are definitely a tripping hazard. There was only one dishwasher tab and dish soap was virtually empty. There were dirty coffee grounds in coffee maker and coffee cups were not clean. Cabin needs a thorough cleaning, as there was a lot of dust and window sills were nasty. Outdoor grill is not usable, because needs to be cleaned and nothing to clean it with. Firewood for firepit was uncovered and placed far away from firepit. Also, the extension cords for firepit lights are loose in the yard and a tripping hazard. Overall there is not enough attention to detail and safety concerns.Pros: Cabin was well stocked with linens, beds were comfortable, antiques added to ambiance, enjoyed reading history of cabin.
